i can't rly tell if my friends celebrate the holidays or not lol ... i think most of my friends are not particularly christian or religious but the sentiment can still be nice ? i'll probably message a few ppl the day of or like for new years tho ^^

@liztress: oh cool ^^ do you really like children?? is working at a daycare kind of like a career shift for you (e.g. from advertising/graphic design)?
i have a lot of respect for teachers :0 it's definitely a tough job but hopefully rewarding too

that's cool! how did you pick the place? what was your motivation for going, like how did u pick that place over somewhere else? :3
i looked up pictures and it seems gorgeous! :0 and probably more relaxing (both in general and also probably for biking around!) than some of the other more touristy places?

that's great to donate to food banks too, i think a lot of times ppl don't really need anything and it's mostly the thought that counts, so it helps for that to go towards someone who would need it
are you and your spouse exchanging gifts this year too?
are you eager to start working again?? or is it kind of either way is fine?

@keturah: have u ever tried doing film studies or using film stills for reference ?? :0 some of them have really great lighting setups!! i've been slowly saving some of them up over time and will sometimes pull one out if i'm being not-lazy abt lighting lol
ahh well i wouldn't consider it magic like fantasy magic, magic realism like ... realistic fiction but there's two moons all of a sudden and there's no explanation why ? i don't mind info heavy books, sometimes i'll read nonfiction :3 i started a people's history of the united states by howard zinn earlier this year ... it's definitely a history book lol so idk if i'd necessarily recommend but has been pretty informative :0 if u like nature-y nonfiction i was reading braiding sweetgrass by robin wall kimmerer and would totally recommend!!
oh noo i'm sorry to hear that :-( may i ask what region ur in that's going on lockdown ? are there ppl in ur household you'd be celebrating with?
ahh how much post processing do u do?? i find that part tends to make a big diff for me and sometimes can "save" a piece i feel unhappy w (not sure what that says abt my fundamentals tho lmao!) that's a helpful mindset though of enjoying the process :3
i tend to find stuff i'd do differently but i try to have a mindset of like, ok i learned something for next time! cuz honestly i'm too lazy to go back to fix it anyway ahaha

ohh i feel that ... i usually watch stuff when i eat or snack and i feel like i can't start eating until something is playing!
that sounds like a lot of places to me :0 how long were u at each place and how was your experience w each one?? has it all been solo travel?
i'd love to visit some of those places, especially southeast asia
