It's similar... but I don't know that it's necessarily a reference. ^^;

Is it though? I don't remember that.

My mom usually does all the cooking because she's a busybody and never stops moving. One year she had knee surgery though so I did all the cooking that year.

My mom is actually a very good cook and my whole family loves green beans.... except me. ._. That's ok though.

I can just never get past the green beans.... T-T I always taste them and I don't like it. It looks so good though.

I like non-sweet potatoes too, but they're just different things. One of the restaurants we used to go to a lot serves a loaded sweet potato which also has cinnamon butter and caramel sauce in addition to the marshmallows.

I don't like wearing shorts! I like layering clothes because COMFY.

Oh Hachi... you don't know what you're missing....

SWEET POTATO IS DELICIOUS.

I live with my parents currently so I'm kind of at their mercy on the thermostat but it's usually around 72-74... I'd prefer it at 69 though... (nice). That's my preferred temp because I can actually wear more than one layer of clothing once in a while if I want to.

Time is a bit fluid these days. So are plans lol.

Man that's gotta suck.. everyone puts onions in literally everything.

As for Thanksgiving... we usually have turkey and sometimes also ham depending on what's on sale haha. For side dishes we have the usual stuffing and cranberry sauce and then anything else per request (which my mom starts asking at the start of November what people want). We usually don't do a big family gathering though so it's just my immediate family. My parents have been cutting sugar out of their diets though and I miss the absurd amount of desserts we used to have lol.
