You could do both, but they can both be kind of bulky and you wanna leave lots of room for all the cocoa. Maybe if you had a really tall mug.

i usually ask my marshmallow on the side :3
so the chocolate itself stays super rich
oh it's like water and sugar and a bit of gelatin and you let it sit and chop it up.
the sweets shop that has the fancy hot chocolate makes theirs fresh every day
