I def get the appeal though... all kids want to imagine they're special and have magic powers.

The more I learn about history the more I realize how much we don't actually know. A lot of it was made up as a theory and told as fact.

Nothing too special, you're just extra salty.

The Hobbit book is actually a pretty fun adventure and I do recommend it.

Def, history is actually very interesting, school curriculums just suck ALLLLL the fun out of it.

Yeah Kairu I just go full Kirby.

And yeah LOTR has a lot of lore around it that you won't learn unless you dive deep into Tolkien's other books. It's not necessary to enjoy the main story, but you know how nerds are.

I really only inhale the salt & vinegar ones. They hurt so good.

I don't think it's as bad as Harry Potter.... it's just 3 books.

Aww I love the animated hobbit movie. ^^ That's fun memories.

Oh man I will wreck an entire bag of salt & vinegar chips if you let me.

The movies are probably the best bet unless you're a fast reader. Skip the extended versions (even though I prefer them). It's a lot to take in at once.

Do NOT watch the Hobbit movies because they ... *sigh* they just weren't good.
