@Yandere: Rescue cats always seem to be the most loving, in my experience. It definitely helps that your husband is training to be a vet, too.

@Totalanimefan: Wow, I grew up less than a mile from the bay, on a point, so there was always accessible waterfront, but it's very different from open coast or ocean. That must have been very interesting, especially during storms
Yesterday I got some seed starting pots and trays, and I want to plant some more things today. Hopefully my seeds aren't too old, because I have some for tiny delicious watermelons, and I really want more of them this summer

@Totalanimefan: I love matcha lemonade. There's a cafe by my old college that made a lemon greentea with popping lemon boba drink and I miss both the drink and being able to go there and hang out. I hope they'll still be around when cafes can open again, since they always had plenty of space for students to sit and study, and affordable meals and the best hot and cold boba drinks
Today my mom and I went and fed baby salmon for a program one of the students at her school is running. Its really adorable to see the water boil with fish because they're so excited for the food. They're newly into the salt water phase of their life, so they live in the bay for now, but once they're bigger, they'll be released so they can go to sea to live salmony lives, feed orcas and later the ones that remain will go back to their spawning sites to lay eggs and help repopulate the rivers

@Yandere: I love rescue cats, especially older ones, because I feel like they have lost the most when they lose a home and family. Kittens are so cute that they'll easily find a home, but older cats are more likely to be overlooked.
Do you watch TinyKittens HQ on youtube? They have livestreams of the feral cats they bring in to fix or treat their diseases, and some of them enjoy human attention enough that they can be adopted. They also bring in pregnant ferals so they can give birth in a safe place before being spayed, and those kittens are always retained and adopted. Sometimes the moms are too scared by people, so they're returned to their managed colonies, but it's always nice to see when cats adapt to living with people, so they can be brought indoors and given a safer home.
I think one of the cat items is a 2019 Reaping Ritual item that I only have one copy of, since I didn't think to buy any extras....Yeah, it's called Trick or Treat

I made the lemonade in a large enough amount to share, and I think I'm gonna make some ice tea so I can drink Arnold Palmers now. I kind of want to get some lemon popping boba to add to the beverage, too.

I've also been mixing matcha into my soymilk, because it's delicious that way, and makes it feel like I'm drinking something fancy from a cafe even though I'm just at home drinking milk

At one time, I put as many cat items as I had here into my avatar, but then I wanted to change it up for the holidays, but I want to make another cat crazy look again
My cat is actually my mom's cat, and he's an old boy that she adopted from the shelter. His previous owner passed away, and my mom said that when she went to look at the shelter cats, he reached out his paw from his cage to touch her, so she chose him

I don't make OCs of my avis, but I definitely try to put together something that amuses me, and make up a story in my head to tie together all the pieces I decide to equip. However, I do have a mule that I made so I could have two separate avis for this site, even though I've never posted with her, I still had fun choosing her aesthetic to contrast with this one, initially

Nah, you're not a jerk, you just enforce your boundaries, and people don't like that, so they try to make it seem like you're the problem. I'm sorry that those people you thought were friends turned out to care more about themselves than they did about being kind and maintaining healthy friendships. It sucks to lose relationships, even if the other person is terrible

The one thing for sure is Thirteen, because it has a void kitty, and I have a void cat irl and he's basically my best friend. I always start to miss him when I'm away for more than a day
