@Tsundererra: Voting is one of the most powerful tools we have. That's why the rich don't want the poor to vote. Haha I wish it was that I could get my way because I emailed someone. Haha. I got an email from said non-profit that helps with community outreach. So I clicked the send email button and it made a new email with who I need to email from the city already filled out. Then I wrote my email. ^^
The guy that replied was from that non-profit. Not from the city of San Jose. But the people on the city council will read it. Honestly there should be more non-profits that are like here is who you should email about this important thing! I think that you would see a lot more good, not just in city planning.

There is a website called GGWash it's about things in your area. I like them. I follow them on twitter. I'm reading something atm that the WMATA put out on future improvements/changes to the Metro. Just ideas for now. The timeline is like 20+ years for some of these. But in city and urban planning you have to think about the long and short term.
