Nah. Mobas involve the little minion dudes and towers. Overwatch is an FPS lol
There are similarities, but the minions/towers/third person positioning are what I dislike about MOBAs.

There's a hurricane in my area.. so spooky. I hope everyone else is doing well though!
MOBA's aren't for everyone, they are kinda a hit or miss. The only one I really play at the moment is League of legends aha

Heroes of the storm wasn't terrible for a MOBA. That may be because I liked that I recognized some of the characters from other games. But I did have fun with League when I played it with just friends. When I tried to play it with just strangers online, they weren't super nice cause I was still rather new.
I played heros a bit. It wasn't as bad as league but I got my dva skin and won't go back lol
I think I actually played Zarya when I played. It was surprisingly not terrible and no one was a jerk.
Yeah, I was actually surprised at how chill the HotS community was when i played. Not at all like the league i remember trying.
It made me actually kind of want to get back into MOBAs. Or at least, that one.
Does anyone here have a switch and/or play Splat2n?
I currently don't have the money for a switch. But as soon as we can save up and/or it goes down a smidge in price, we're gonna get one. With that, I've never even played Splatoon 1 although I wanted to give it a shot.

It looked super cute, but I'm not super good at anything shooter at all so we kind of avoided it. But if you recommend it we may have to check it out.
Oh, definitely! The second one has a hoard mode, and even the regular shooter mode has stuff that aren't actually shooters, like the rollers and stuff. You don't have to be super good at shooting, since it's about turf coverage and not kills, haha.

Yeah. While I enjoyed some of the characters from League, I don't think I'll ever go back. It was just too toxic and rude.
I don't often read it myself. ^_^ Too focused on the game itself.
