Does your username mean something to you? Is it something you've used on other sites? Why /that/ name out of all names?
I picked my username because I love cats and anime, and it's always been taken everywhere and I managed to get it. I was very excited!

Pretty much same reason as Neko lol. I love kitties ^^ Had this name back on Ernya, so it was nice to be able to have it here as well.

I used to use "Sam" across the board but, since I haven't been on avatar sites in a long while, I figured it was time for a change. ^^ Prodigy is the name of my most beloved OC, so I thought it was an appropriate choice.
So here's what had happened.
When I was a wee little child and I had never had an email before because the internet was still relatively new and dial up was all that exists my friend decided to make me an email account. She asked what sorts of things I liked and the only thing I really liked was blink 182. So she used that and yahoo suggested blinkin13118. I used this for years on Gaia and photobucket and junk. Then, in some random obscure thread on Gaia someone mistakenly called me bikini, which I read as blinkini and I thought that was just the cutest thing in the whole darned world. So the next day I made a new account and switched everything over and began my life as blinkini! :vanora_smile:

I use dragoness129 on basically all the sites. Dragoness is me. The 129 started in Runescape when dragoness was taken, so I clicked random numbers. Oddly, it was like an epiphany because a few years later, my girls were born on 1/29.
I have been Melite for the last 12 years. It started on WoW and just felt like me since thrn so I use it always, except ernya where I shortened it to Meli.
I pretty much use a different username on each site. Not really sure why. I just picked the first thing that came into my head that sounded relatively nice and cheerful. Et voila!

Valyndria is the name of an OC I made up a few years back. I decided to use it online because I no longer feel a connection to my old online alias. I'd looove to change all my online usernames and gamer tags over to it, but ofcourse you can't change your psn name.... D:< #rage
Espy's also an old OC name, but over the years it kind of became my name...?
I changed my Facebook name to Espy during college apps, and then kinda of...forgot to change it back, and so all my friends at CMUKGB (social org at uni) saw me around the FB group and hence knew me mostly as "Espy". And it just stuck.
Also helps with the whole gender thing. It's gotten to the point where my birth name is just...really jarring, and I usually just glare at people when they ask "Well, what's your /real/ name?" Like..."Espy" is real enough.

I am something different everywhere I go. Shiver on Ernya. Storm To Pass on Gaia. So running with the Song Title theme. I choose Lithium, in honor of Lithium by Evanescence, my favorite band.

I picked the username Wisteria cause I love the color purple and Wisteria trees. :vanora_smile:

You all have interesting stories behind yours! I just love cats so Kitten was a username I used to use all the time when I was younger if it wasn't already taken :vanora_xd:
I honestly just picked mine because it's one I've used on other sites and helps old members from other sites remember and find me xD though like many of us I've had so many but this is the most common aside from.cheappornshow and spell xD
I choose Iggy because he's my precious blind winged baby. He's a character from the book series (and one hooooorible movie) Maximum Ride. I've used this name so much on avatar forums and online that it's actually become my nickname, though I've only been called it once irl because someone was really trying to get my attention lol. But online everyone knows me as Iggy. :vanora_glasses:
