This is exactly@Totalanimefan: I'm good, I actually did vaguely productive things today. Woke up to some nice weather, like not melting me alive weather. So it made me want to get up out of bad. Designed a new title logo for a DnD group I'm in, discussed streaming it for other people's entertainment. Worked on some art. Googled a LOT of tutorials for stuff.

@Another Movie Addict: Wow awesome. The weather was nice here in DC too. I guess it made it all the way down to Florida. Today was my last day at my current job. It's kinda sad to go but I'm sure I can go better in the future.

@Another Movie Addict: The title is Contract Admin. So I have legal contracts and I send them out for signature and then I also file it away in our database. I liked the job, and I'm actually a good fit, but my boss's boss didn't want to keep me, so here we are.

@Another Movie Addict: No. They are moving to a new system and hired a new girl without even a legal background. It's kinda messed up if you think about it, but the hire ups didn't think I did much because I'm a temp? Or something? idk.
This is exactly@Totalanimefan: Okay that is very awful. They've been doing shit like that at my mom's job. She works for The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, and they've been hiring these children who haven't the foggiest as to what they are doing.

You have someone that is ALREADY working for you, but you don't listen to the people that work with said person so you think you should hire a new person. Cause it's cheaper, or cause you just want to get rid of them? Idk people man.
Also the executive assistant saw all the work I was doing, and how well I was going it and she was like, why aren't they keeping you? She was pretty pissed and she said that she would talk to someone about it. Which is cool, but also do I want to keep working at a place like that?

@Another Movie Addict: lol that's the one good thing about 2020 is that we can work from home. I am/was working from home for this place. I hope that the next place is the same.
I think your right. It's all about the money in the end. Which isn't wrong, but also we still need the human element. Humans are still the ones doing the job.
