@Totalanimefan: They're just from a box mix but it is one that comes with actual blueberries instead of the dried artificial ones. Someone was talking about making blueberry muffins the other week and they sounded good. I haven't had blueberry muffins in quite awhile.

ooh blueberry muffins yum ... last time i baked i made a chocolate loaf + glaze (recipe here) and before that i did an olive oil loaf cake! i added some chopped up lavender and lime zest on top and it came out so yummy, would rec!! :3

also how did yall fare in the storms lately?? not sure if you were affected! we got a little bit of basement flooding during the hurricane 2-3 weeks ago and then again during the flash flood last week @@

Chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal raisin, and melting moments cookies which are a little bit like a snickerdoodle.

oh scary! one of our housemates played a show in manhattan and couldn't get home because all the subways were flooded ...
one of my housemates ended up driving and we went to go pick him up, luckily it had stopped raining by that point and didn't start up again!
we saw a lot of abandoned cars in the middle of the road tho which was kind of spooky and superi nteresting! i think they were parked and ended up floating over

I've never tried making the melting moments cookies but they're very tasty. They're thinner delicate cookies, neither exactly crispy or soft but kind of in the middle. They're sweet, crumbly somewhat buttery and they pretty much melt in your mouth. One of my favorite cookies around the holidays.
I have plans to relax, go shopping and to a nice dinner. I need these 5 days so bad. I need to recharge.
