just trying to keep up with work while making progress on my pet projects

i'm very very slowly acquiring all the miscellaneous materials for my project ballgown and i have the main fabrics now
so have to plan for getting all the trims and appliques.
as it turns out, appliques costs add up real fast
@Wildfire: Me too. It's not so bad it bleeds or anything but it's still unpleasant.

@sunny: yeah originally for cosplay, but i'm working on developing some uh.... more sustainable construction habits, so aiming for higher quality sewing in this piece and therefore a ballgown that can be used for not just costuming reasons XD

@Spider: Oh! I didn't even think about the amusement parks! That makes total sense. I really wish I could afford to check out one of them (I'm in Florida as well) during Halloween-time but oh well, some day. My anxiety probably couldn't take it anyway! XD

It's not as scary this year TBH they put up plexiglass for the houses (which is fine because it protects the actors) the visuals are always great. Honestly, if I didnt get in for free on certain nights I wouldn't go often. I ended up buying the tickets to sea worlds halloween event since they were only $30 at one point, I am currious how it will hold up;

Evening everyone. How's everyone's day been?
My day was alright. Just got home from work a bit ago. Got something to eat for supper and something to drink. Unfortunately, was in a hurry going out the door this morning and forgot my work keys and apparently my house keys as well. So I'm stuck outside till my sister gets home from work. But at least the weather's nice?
And it looks like my earphones shipped finally, says they'll be here tomorrow, hopefully they'll actually come when it says.
