I'll be happy when the weather starts getting much cooler. Florida yo. -melts-

About the end of October it gets less likely to kill.

Hello again.
Yeah, Florida is nasty at this time of year... cooler weather would be quite nice!

Yeah. But at least the humidity is going down, so we're not drowning in air.

True... although it's feeling like it's going to get pretty steamy in my area in another hour or so if the sun stays out. After all the rain we had yesterday, it's a wet sauna waiting to happen! Ugh.

According to the news, it's supposed to be nice this weekend for us up here.

Wal-Mart delivery is a life saver.

I'm probably going to make a run to walmart later to get a couple things *sigh*...

That's a nice memory koneko - and yeah, it's nasty, but you get used to it. And then it cools off to more reasonable "summer" temperatures and you're at the beach on Christmas Day! XD

Also, A/C helps. A LOT. It's pretty unbearable without being able to at least take a break from the heat once in a while...

lol... your brain will get used to it at some point. In the meantime though, that can be a rough transition period - or at least it has been for me...

Yeah, it's a little weird having BBQ or going to the beach on Xmas, but it's pretty cool all at the same time!

@sunny: Not late for me. I'm 5 hours behind you lol

@Vixen: Heck yeah and then hang the best one up on your wall, or make a collage out of it.
Yesterday was good but a lot. I read the all of the readings for my class and watched all of the videos. I also did some of the study guide, but 9 hours in I was like nope. XD

@dragoness129: Hey it's so good to see you here during the event. ^^ It's on for 3 weeks.

@ChiffonOrange: I'm good. I see you changed your avatar. ^^ Looks nice.

About FL. I will say when it is really humid it does remind me of there. Our Aug here was really humid cause it rained something like 20 out of the 30 days in Aug. So there was plenty of moisture.
Now that it's Sept we probably won't see anymore 90+ days with 70+% humidity.

Voltie Posted 3 years ago ( 2021/09/2 15:44:57 )
Yeah... exactly like that... 90+*F and 60+% humidity. And you know it's really bad when the sliding doors fog up with condensation and your A/C isn't set that high (or is it "low"? We keep ours at about 77-78*)

I like to keep my AC at 77-78 still even though I've lived in a lot of places now lol
Sometimes at night or when it's still humid in the house I have to turn it down another degree or so. The window in our bedroom has a huge crack, but they guys can't get the windows until Oct. So I'm stuck leaving the room at 74 and it's still super humid with all the rain we have been getting.

I don't know what I use anymore. my brain is fried lol

LOL - I think most people reference the temperature settings that way.
That sucks about the window

@Koneko Unless there is a freak heatwave we should be good now. You are more north than me so I can't imagine it being worse for you.
Sucks when an upstairs is really hot.

The people in CA that would have AC they would be like yeah I keep it at 72 or 68 and I'd be like why?! You don't need it to be that cold, just enough so you aren't sweating instead lol
Don't really want sweater weather in July. Plus the electric bill would be off the charts.

The AC at the store I work at, swears it's set at 75. That damn thing is a liar.

I would experience that a lot at retail places. It's probably 75 right where the reader is and no where else.
Also the lights and the people make the store hotter.
