@Colin: Totally understandable. I have a real love of Mantis Rider, since I started when it was in Standard and it was my favorite creature. I also really love Anticipate for the same reason :D

@sorrowthemad: Anticipate is an ok card. I rarely saw it used, or see it used.

Mantis Rider on the other hand, despite its hard 3-colour casting cost, it's a SOLID creature, imo.

@Colin: Yeah, I haven't played Anticipate in years. When I started I played a sort of 4-color prowess deck, and Anticipate was a pretty decent cantrip for what I was doing. Mantis Rider rocks though :D I also still have ptsd over Siege Rhino.

@Colin: I'm much more into Abzan and Rhino now but when I started it was either you played Rhino or Jace, Vryn's Prodigy or did nothing. I still played a bunch of fun decks though at the time but yeah :)

@Amber Lynne: Soon it won't be so hot. Summer only lasts for one season. :) How are you doing?

@Colin: Yeah it's true. In high school I had some bad memories associated with fall, and in winter I get SAD so fall used to be hard for me. I've worked through most of those things now so fall isn't as bad for me. The end of summer is still a little bid sad for me still. XD

@sorrowthemad: ...yeah, fair. Siege Rhino really dominated a lot of metas, I have to admit. Interestingly enough, I don't think Abzan was played for its mechanic, Outlast, all that often.

@totalanimefan: I've always loved Fall... well, ever since I graduated school, lol. Since then, it's been my favourite season. And it sucks that Fall was so hard on you, but at least it's gotten better. Also, you are affected by SAD as well?

@Totalanimefan: Jessica has done a ton of research and is totally into it! She thinks it will help since it has a high rate of success with PTSD sufferers. :)

@Colin: Yeah, Outlast is kinda bad for the most part. Admittedly some of the "creatures with +1 counters have X ability" do make them quite a bit better though. :)

@sorrowthemad: The only time I ever saw Outlast decks, they had a playset of Hardened Scales in it. THAT was the card that made the deck even playable in metas and such.

But, to be fair, Hardened Scales is just such a good card overall.

@Colin: It really is, and it's such a fun card to abuse with Modular <3 I'm so glad, I picked them up at $.25 because I wanted to play them in Affinity and the price on those cards TOOK OFF. I think they're like $10 now. :D But yeah, Outlast kinda sucks. Anafenza (both versions) were alright but I think that was Bolster rather than Outlast.
