My husband put salt on watermelon I've the summer and I just did a ",wtf" face at him cause we've been together 10 years and that is the first time he's done it . That whole brings out the flavor thing. Idk why he suddenly decided to go back to his childhood

@xvz: it's just homeschooling in Florida. The laws and requirements vary by state. If you pursue it at all, I strongly suggest that you find a co-op or two. Or a group - there are some purely social groups out there too if you are not interested in "exchanging academics" but just want your kid to have other kids to hang out with and do things with (like homeschool prom, etc.). And yes, exactly. Those are a couple of reasons why we chose to homeschool to begin with. Yes, we've had to re-learn things that we didn't learn really well the first time around because of public school. We've had to follow some weird and unanticipated rabbit holes of information over the years. But it has entirely been worth it. I love my kids - in the way that I'm proud of who they are - especially as they are about to go off in to the world (covid notwithstanding)

i used to not like melon/cantaloupe as a kid but now i actually do quite enjoy it if they're ripe :0 although i never buy them myself
