although i am finally making the connection of ppl using pineapple as like a meat marinade / tenderizer :0 !
i can't find any evidence of this on the internet but i remember having pineapple once where ppl said they used milk to water the pineapple! and it was like special in that you wouldn't get the mouth ouchies from it!
@xvz: Yes, we have a good relationship and I do think homeschooling them helped keep it that way. Yes, it was a lot of work sometimes, but I didn't do it in a vacuum - there's a lot of support and community available to help. I've put them in classes and I've taught classes at homeschool co-ops. There have always been good people -good adults around that they can talk to, which helped too. And even the tough parts are probably a lot easier than trying to figure out what the heck "teacher 1" is trying to teach them, or what they mean by this homework assignment or whatever - I didn't have to get in to other peoples' heads, so to speak.

Yeah my dad eats like half an onion with most meals. Usually he cuts it up into wedges first but it's still raw onion just by itself.
Fun fact: chopping onions does not make me cry. Also pineapple makes my stomach hurty unless it's cooked.

i hadn't heard of homeschool coops before but that makes sense they would exist :0 it sounds like you must have a strong local community where you are!
do you have a spouse who also contributes to the homeschooling? or is like different roles n duties ?

⠀|⠀post art by kiwi!⠀|⠀spooky chati know some ppl who would like soak their apples in vinegar or smthg to wash it ?? (or to prevent browning? i can't remember) but it would taste vinegary which i didn't like
my mom sometimes used to soak it in lemon i think so it wouldn't brown and that actually tasted p good!
