She didn't seem to be bothered by the store-bought pico de gallo ?? I thought it tasted... weird, but she seemed to like it.
Maybe next time I get groceries I'll get some tomatoes... and more onions, because the ones right now clear the room.

@0v7: I think some people (perhaps your aunt is among them?) are so used to "store bought" or "packaged" food, that they really don't taste or know the difference between it and "home made". It's weird.

I developed a passion for kid's books. To a point where I got hired with no background to be a children's librarian [assistant].
Applying what I know is insanely difficult though in writing.
I left my library when I moved states, that also landed with pandemic too. I don't know what I'll do from here as far as a job. -shrugs-

This is exactlyA few friends and I have been playing dnd, and our characters are currently on an airship. Is fancy airship too, even has a casino built inside of it. Well one of the games was a chicken race. The DM said that they looked like chickens anyway. We all missed that. Fast forward a bit and my character decided that she really didn't like these poor creatures being trapped in cages and then exploited. So with another party member, and an npc, we all worked up a plan to free the chickens. Lots of high jinx ensues. Including our druid turning into a chicken to cause a distraction. After all of that we discovered that these things were the size of dogs. And not technically chickens. Well us players all decided to flesh out what these things were. Inventing a new species. DM's boyfriend named the species Kukochu. I drew up a design on what they might look like. I combined chicken with lizard features. One of us is really good at making plushies from just doodles. So they whipped up a pattern from scratch, and made me one of the Kukochu.
Which are now apart of our party. XD Well three of the kukochu joined us.
