Welcome to Voltra! This is a really great community! It helps to start by chatting. I've never done it here, but some people put up a quest page and quest for certain items and they either save up or nice wonderful people will sometimes donate items. If your artistic you could sell art, etc. I just lurk, chat and get the awesome daily prize.

Oh! I loved pixels... I always thought they were so cute. Also the doll sites... I miss those a lot. I also miss this game, called unicreatures, and something that started with a V and you caught capusles and then raised them.

I didn't make it to midnight... I fell asleep, but I did wake up to fireworks, went to the bathroom and crawled into bed. Then I woke up at 3am cuz our upstairs neighbors came home very noisily than normal(you can hear them pace the floors, but last night was worse.) And I never went back to bed and surprisiling I am wide awake, not tired and have energy up the wazoo.

Normal traidtion is to sit around and watch movies/tv, eating snacks and some wine.

When I was a kid my Mom and I and a friend used to sit around and do the same(only since we were kids we got sparking fake wine), and had to wake my friend up around midnight every year cuz she never made it.

I almost pushed my BF off the bed last night. We moved into an apt recently from a house with tiny bedrooms, and we can have the bed in the middle and not pushed up against the wall now, and I keep feeling like I am gonna fall off the bed and I kept on moving over until I am practically laying on him and I guess last night I took over the bed and almost pushed him off. Ooops.

Winter here has been weird. Goes from kinda cold, to 50 degrees, back to cold again. Plus we had snow on Halloween and since then like none. Mind you we have all of Jan and Feb to get through as well, but ya.

I got gingerbread earrings, and they are sooo cute!

Nice Star! I have my go to holiday movies... It's A Wonderful Life(the black and white version), A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, One Magic Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas(who dosen't love Ernest!), Charlie Brown Christmas, and of course can't forget Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer! I own these either on DVD, Bluray , or with Ernest if I really feel like it, I hook up the VCR cuz that with some family videos is all I own on tape. I should just bite the bullet and either get it from amazon or if Vudu has it buy it digital.

I signed up for the free trial, and I liked it... but since the app only plays on our tv in our bedroom I decided to cancel it until we get a Roku so everyone can sit around in the living room and watch it. Plus, at the moment only thing I was watching was the Marvel movies and starting to watch Boy Meets World.(And that just made me feel old, watching how young everyone was!)
