My son who is 11 is the main gift getter this year. He's pretty much all I can budget in this year. He likes the band Skillet so I am buying him one of their cd's, a gift card for google play or walmart and maybe a few other small things that I know he's into, like puzzles, he loves fuzzy socks-the cuter the better, loves hot coco, and thinking if I can make it work into the budget that keeping Xbox Live Gold will also be his gift.(And mine as well as I play Xbox a fair amount as well... and am thinking of trying Fallout 76 once gamefly rents me a copy, lol.)

SO's parents pretty much are getting their gifts early as they can be used right away. He's getting a pair of Muck Lux socks which should be here tommrow. He keeps on wanting to pay us back, but I told him to consider it an early Christmas gift from us.

Yeah, I miss the people at Mene a lot... but I run into some ppl on other sites(like you). I could start over there... but I dunno... life is starting to get hectic again and less and less computer time is going to start happening soon. :( My sig other and I have been basically ignoring everything around our house to a point and spending a lot of time at his parents house taking care of them, making sure they eat, cleaning their house, taking out the garbage, spending as much time with them as we can, etc.
I'm starting to run myself ragged with trying to keep up with our house as well though. It's not dirty cuz I have a set schedule I do chores on certain days, but some stuff has been set aside, like folding clothes. But the main stuff that bugs the crap out of me if it's not clean gets done even if I have to stay up later to do it.(Bathroom and Kitchen are always clean... I am almost OCDish with those rooms, they have to be clean, and clean to my specs where the toilet bowl is shiney and smells like bleach and the kitchen has no dirty dishes, stove is spotless, etc.) I am just glad that our roommate(which is a good friend who needed a place to stay) is so good at helping out. When he isn't working he keeps an eye on and takes out the dogs when were not home, he helps keep the front rooms clean, he cooks dinners and helps out however he can which is really nice. Yikes, I just realized I am babbling on and on... I better stop typing now, lol.

I normally don't do cranberry sauce as I don't care for the stuff out of a can, but this year my sig others sister made homemade cranberry sauce cuz she knows how much her Dad likes cranberries and there was some left over for today(we did the big family one with his side a few days ago, and just got together with his parents today... on Sat I do my side of the family, which I'm thinking of making Taco Dip if nobody is making it yet... I wasn't sure I was going as sig other has to work, but a family member offered me a ride so I'm like, why not.) But anyway, I had some of SO's sisters cranberry sauce and it was really good... it had these huge cranberries in it and it was... hard to explain the taste, but it was waaaay better than out of a can.

@star2000shadow: I miss mene. I lost my password stuff and I signed up with an email I no longer have acess too. Which really sucks as I had a lot of stuff that I collected over the years.

Trisphee has a good layering system as well.

I made a green bean casserole for one, and for today my sig other made pretty much all the fixin's yesterday over at his parents house.

I like the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Jessica Jones a lot.

my roommate is hawaiian. only reason why his family left when he was in high school was because cost of living was getting harder and harder. Everything is pretty much double or triple the price of things on the mainland due to having to fly it or boat it to the island.

I will only eat Jelly Belly or Starburst jelly beans. Or black jelly beans, I love black jelly beans.

@star2000shadow: I hate buying clothes at walmart. They rarely have anything in my size I like, and if you do find something and don't get there right when they put the stuff out it's gone. Plus they stopped carrying my fav brand which is JMS, so now between JMS.com and WomanWithin.com is where I do all my shopping now. Sometimes I'll find a good deal on Amazon, but I prefer womanwithin as they have more avaliable sizes.

@nyreen: Kinda yes, there is an online series that explores the Orgins of the Stargate or something? I haven't watched it yet as I don't want to pay for something and not like it... even though I probably will as I love the spin offs. Didn't much care for SGU, but I still kinda liked it.


@star2000shadow: Doing good here. Other than having to go to the bathroom a lot... but that is because one of meds were upped and it's affecting me stomach wise... just gotta give it a day or two, hopefully. I'm a bit hyper today as well... dunno why just am. Sorry, rambling about stuff that is probably TMI, lol.
