This is me lately... wrapped in a blanket and reading.*and yes I wear shorts/capri's around the apt with socks/slippers on. It's not that cold where I am... it's 38 degs right now but I love snuggling with my blanket.

I make Lasangna my way a lot. It disapppers in my house, lotsa times very little left overs.

Oven Ready Lasanga Noodles
2 bottles Prego or Spagetti sauce your choice
Cottage Cheese
Shredded Motzeralla and Parmasan Cheese
1 pound ground beef.

Fry the meat, when done add spagetti sauce.
Put a bit of sauce on bottom of a cake pan.
Add a layer of noodles.
Add Cottage Cheese, half the bags of motz and parmasan cheese to the sauce mix.
Then just layer the sauce mix on the noodles and keep going til you run out of noodles
bake in the oven for 55 mins, then add the rest of cheese and bake 5 mins, let rest for another 5-10 mins and your done.

Another recipe we make is Lumpia(pretty much eggrolls) that was taught to my by my friend. But that takes hours to make(at least for me cuz my arm bugs the crap outta me) cuz of all the rolling of the wrappers and then deep frying them.

@ danielle: Hi! I love gaming as well. I can't play Witcher 3 ever since the update right now cuz it wants me to update my graphics drivers(my son is having same problem with his games as well.) but the updater keeps saying it can't update the drivers. So I'm thinking it's time to save up for a new computer.(It's like 6 or 7 years old, so it's time.)

I tried to learn how to crochet several times, but I'm not coordinated enough and my knots were always wrong, and I had trouble understanding how to do it so I just gave up.

Congrats! I'm not that creative to do digital art. The most I do is digital scrapbooking and archiving all the family pictures on the computer.

I hope your new job is going well! I hope your having fun with it too.

@totalanimefan: This is the first time my SO has been gone on a trip without me... and my mind goes to all sorts of things that can go wrong... but I just keep breathing in and out and give it to God and my ancestors to watch over them to make it home safely.(Sorry if that offended anybody) It also helps that right now I am stuck in a book and am trying to take a break from it today but I keep wondering what is going to happen so I read more and more. Plus I have been puttering around the apt finding where to put things, and cleaning, etc.

My goals this year is to try to do more walking, even if it is up and down the hallways.
To keep my mental health in check... my depression has been bad ever since my Dad died in 2020 and I just feel like I am waking up from a long nap and my head is in a better place ever since my doctor switched my meds-even though I feel parts of my agorophobia are coming back.
To lose some weight and get in better shape and to keep my blood sugars at a good level so my a1c's stay lower.

I spent my New Years eve sleeping. My SO and son had to be up early the next day to go out of town so we all went to bed around 9pm. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for them to get home.(They haven't even left yet, but will soon and then my anxiety will kick up cuz I worry about the long drive back(it's a 3 hour drive)

@lilmisskushy: That sounds fun! My Aunt came into town last week now that she is feeling better(She was sick from Nov-Dec something... had covid for the 4th time, then RSV, then Influenza A all right after each other and some overlapping. I'm glad she had nice neighbors that helped her plow her driveway, help feed and water the chickens and horse, and brought her food.) We had a fun time when she was up, we ordered out to our fav place and we got burgers, salads, and nachos to eat. She helped us finish the last of getting our apt empty(Mainly the garage) by taking some stuff she could use and my SO and our son went up there yesterday to drop off more stuff that SO couldn't part with but there was no room inside the new apt for.(Besides, I wouldn't have wanted them inside cuz a lot of it was garage stuff like tools, etc.)

I'm late, but Happy New Years! I kinda got lost in a book these last few days and haven't been on the computer much. It's one of those books you just can't put down. But I am making myself take a break from it today, lol. It's called A Discovery of Witches trilogy by Deborah Harkness and I am really liking it.
