Life has definitely been topsy turvy for me the last couple years as well.
I hope you have a good time meeting up with friends and visiting schools. C:

I'm hoping to switch jobs soon so I can bring in a higher income. o3o it's stressful to do so, especially since I know my current workplace needs me to stick around although I'm not scheduled too much. e.e'

I enjoy forum avatar sites, but I have a hard time picturing myself joining a new modernized one. :T
I gave Voltra a shot a few years ago, I joined at a perfect time where they had consistent events and event games n' stuff. Really, Really hit the spot. XD
However, due to the uprising and deaths of so many forum sites- this will be my last one.

My new year so far is mostly just snow storms, lots of missed work due to road conditions [surprised I'm not fired yet], and kids being home too much.
My sanity feels... a little worn. XD

My 2023 was a rough ride. :T
adjusted to having a third child, 8 years younger than my other two.
Got pretty close to divorcing my husband..
worked a few different jobs to keep the bills paid and my mom's bills paid.
uhhhm- had a falling out with my family since it was a "choose your husband or us" kinda situation. =3=

*on the positive side, I enjoyed all the jobs I had through 2023. I met a lot of new people and I love that. The turmoil of my life made me appreciate the littler things more. I read a lot of books.
Topped the year off by getting 2 new puppies. XDD and 7 chickens [well 5 now- 2 died from said puppies]

I got a full time job which eats up a lot of my week, then my husband got a full time job this Christmas break- daycare is impossible to find during the holidays.
Then we got the stomach flu this week.

I just wanna like ... Run away? XD take a break from my responsibilities and live someone else's life for a bit? But i got kids and dogggggs. =_= and chickens.

@Alchemists Fire: Parents are always hard to shop for! I don't send my parents anything for christmas. ^^' They live far away... or I live far away from them. XDD
They're hard to shop for- same problem. They just get what they need and it's hard to know what they want.

I've got my holiday prep done- I just need to figure out a daycare that's available asap. :c
My husband got a job and my-gosh.... awful timing. =3= glad he'll be working tho. <.< but childcare will eat my paycheck pretty quickly.

I have a day off from work. So yay!
But i got a crap ton of prep to do for Christmas and bills to do. /flops
Tis the season for mommy stress that has to be hidden from the kids.

@Alchemists Fire: I've worked retail in Many places. But pet retail is insane. ^^'
Employees are 100% expected to answer obscure vet-like questions. Of course lots of dogs and few kitties come in daily. I get to pet all the pets. Cx
But yeah. I need to specifically train to understand dog foods. Specialized treats. Animal body parts. Customer service. Etc. Very niche retail field.
(Gotta admitt that im not feeling confident here)
