Adulting is difficult for me too.

Ever since last year, I learned how to travel many places by myself on public transport, whereas for much of my life, my understanding was limited to travelling to only around 1 or 2 places by myself. Otherwise, I needed someone to drive me. Phone apps are really helpful in building independence and travel training.

@priestess of pie: I also used to think everyone seemed happy/wasn't as worried as I was for the longest time. But since last year, all these songs about going on a journey/road, just holding yourself together to get through the day, and feeling anxious hits differently to me.

Hey, everyone. :) This is my charity art thread, where you can request free art. I can draw your avatar or character face claim from reference photo in traditional lead and/or coloured pencil.

Please either have a ref photo or say you will like your current avatar to be drawn at your time of posting. Please don't give me a deadline, as I am drawing to alleviate my chronic stress. I used to draw quite a lot, and am recently rediscovering the joy. More slots may be opened throughout time; I will update. Finished art will be posted here under spoiler tag, and you will be pinged. It isn't necessary to pay me anything, but please credit me if displaying anywhere (ex. Art by Jessamine on Voltra). Only one slot request for each person, please. Examples are below.





Note: Semi-realism can vary from head to waist, and anywhere in between. Realism can vary from head to bust, and anywhere in between; head will be significantly smaller with full bust. (I can't fit my drawing in my sketchbook otherwise Imao). Please specify if semi or full realism, and shot type.

I am open to discussing any type of spec, other than: medium used (specify if just lead or full colour!!), non-PG nsfw/gore, full bodies (head to feet), written descriptions only (image with or without description is okay).

The best concert I've been to recently was probably Shawn Mendes' Illuminate in 2017, Kurt Hugo Schneider & Sam Tsui in 2016 (it was so amazing meeting Kurt & Sam; Sam said I was really sweet :3), Taylor Swift's Reputation in 2018, or Palaye Royale in 2019. :) I met Emerson afterwards!!

@aisukohi: The Ice Nine Kills concert sounds fantastic; I'm happy you enjoyed it and got to hold Spencer's foot. :) I haven't been to an Ice Nine Kills concert before (not sure if I will, because I can't turn down the heavy screaming in concerts, only in music videos xD I do like the screaming, but also, my poor ears lmao ), but I do love some of their songs like Stabbing in the Dark. ^^ As soon as the song started (after the initial setup scene), I was like, omg his voice is gorgeous. <3 And I love a lot of their acoustic performances overall.

My favourite books/book series include the Grishaverse by Leigh Bardugo, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin, Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare, Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor, and many more. :) I am currently rereading Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo; it's good, although I prefer the first book more. I love Wylan so much.
