@totalanimefan: Once it got too cold indoors without heat and we got tired of cooking over candles (but that did happen) my girlfriend and I drove over to her friend's apartment to spend a night since their apartments were close and next to a hospital so last to lose power. We drove at like 2mph because of all the snow and ice.
And we we still had it way better than some people who lived on the generally poorer side of the city. While downtown Austin where hotels, luxury condos, and businesses are the power was on the entire storm. Inequality is an unfortunately strong thing here in
