"No... no, no, it... it can't be..." he said further.

However, the woman's tone and expression showed that this was not a lie.

".....DAMN IT ALL TO HELL!" Sharp then cursed loudly, turning and slamming his fist into the closest wall.

"Not with the way you currently are." he added, somewhat cryptically.

"....you mean her feet?" Levi asked.

"Among other things." Sharp responded. "And no, I don't have time to elaborate."

"If you need me, you know how to contact me." She then said. "But I need to make sure that Kiah doesn't end up losing her life to this." With that, she vanished in some of the most subtle mana ever.

"She's... not all she seems to be, is she?" Ally then asked after a moment.

"And do as you need to. I'll be fine." She added.

"Come on Levi, let's get out of here so that he can do waht he needs to."

He then proceeded to give Levi and Ally what they needed.

"Salve first, then powder, then wrap." he told them. "Keep the feet bandaged until you take a shower or bath. Refresh them afterwards." he finished.

"Got it." Levi replied.

"Good." Sharp responded, before calmly leaving the room, vanishing in a puff of smoke when he did.

Ally nodded, but hadn't a chance to say more than a simple 'thank you' before he was gone. She just sighed after he vanished before doing as she was told to, knowing that it would be a good idea.

She was busy with the book, writing furiously within it, marking the pages. Despite being sucked into it, she was still take care of her daughter, to an extent. She wasn't so far gone that she had no awareness as to what was going on, and she was still capable of getting up and making dinner, for instance, for the pair of them. Admittedly, most of the meals were done in advance and reheated later.

She was sitting at the kitchen table, writing furiously in the book while her daughter was in the den watching something on TV, when there was a knock on the door. Liv got to her feet to answer it, not knowing what was going to go happen because she did so.
