K's face hit the floor, and hit it hard. There was an audible crack, and blood. as she hit.

"Wh-... what...?" She wondered as she stayed there, didn't move, didn't seem to be properly able to process what it was that had happened.

"...pain...?" She knew that whomever was pinning her wouldn't answer her, and certainly wouldn't care, either. She had to figure it out, but there was only one reason she could think of.

She was honestly there. This wasn't a dream.

K was stunned. She cooperated, mostly because she couldn't get past the realisation that she was actually there, that this was real, that this wasn't a dream.

As she was shoved into somewhere that she wasn't paying attention to where she was being taken. She was released from the restraints as she was shoved into there, however, the mana restrictors remained.

She sat on the bed in there, just staring at her hands for a few seconds, trying to process this, trying to wrap her head around it.

"There's no way I'm in the past... is there? Surely I'd remember this if I was." She muttered before looking around, noticing a mirror. She made her way over to it, checking her reflection, and finding herself stunned to see the natural complexion, her long red and blonde hair. And her glasses, although they were cracked.

"What?" She asked before pausing, noticing her nose.

".... aaaaand that's the crack." She muttered.

"K." Was all she said.

"Don't call me Kiah." She added before sighing, heavily.

"And... yeah. I won't fight." She told him honestly, her voice most certainly more subdued than he likely expected.

K was silent as all was said and done.

".... right. you can read souls, in essence." She commented.

"Well, more like you can read life signs, auras, but that's tied to the soul." She continued with a shrug.

"So you can read souls, and later you learn to read mana."

K just laughed. It had the same maniacal sound to it, but it wasn't as strong.

"Yes. Later you can, because our mana is tied to our souls." She told him honestly.

"As for how I know that? I forced it out of you." She continued. "You were quite a lovely little rat."

K was silent for a moment before laughing lightly.

".... if you'll let me while here, I can do it, but not torture you as I did in the future." She told him honestly.

".... this... this is my chance to fix where I'm from..."

The worst of her injuries was her nose.

"Not nice at all." K confirmed with a nod.

"So, you're going to have to give me access to a phone, or let me out of here, so I can beat some sense into my cousin." She then said.

"So stop that from happening."

K just shrugged.

"Do as you need." She started.

"I'm not sure how much time I have, I admit." She added after a moment or two, seeming to be thinking about it.

K was silent before sighing, heavily.

"I got time." She stated.

"about a week, actually." She added.

"And whatever. My nose is fine." She stated brushing it off.

"Hah." was all K said.

"Thought that much was obvious." She added as she sat back on the bed, her back against the wall.

"I don't care what you do to me, but I need to speak to my cousin." She added. "Keep me locked up, beat me, I don't care. HE just needs to be stopped."
