I feel like every big city in the US has a problem with it. DC is nothing like NYC or CA, but it’s getting worse because of the pandemic. It breaks my heart and makes me so angry. Our government has failed our people because they stopped working for our people.

@totalanimefan: I should enter that contest again too, actually, but I'm trying to find some time to draw for the other contest and to do some avatar art that I promised a certain somebody (& other things)
@kiwi: Yes, my day has been pretty busy already. That's ok though - at least it's productive. Yes, it's usually warm where I am (I'm in Florida, US), so it's really nice when it cools down a little bit :3

@Wildfire: I would think doing the art contest is better odds since a lot of people entered the poetry contest.
@Totalanimefan: Yes, I agree - besides, I already posted an entry for the poetry contest. Whatever I do for the art contest (if I get there) will be less than ideal, though, just because my time is so in demand right now.

There is cleaning to be done but I don’t want to do it lol
@Totalanimefan: I have some skillz, just not the time. But yes, maybe you're right. I'll have to check the details again before I do anything for it. Maybe my lack of time won't work too horribly against me.
I have cleaning to do too, but for today, doing laundry is going to have to count as "cleaning" - lol!!

@Totalanimefan: Sometimes it does. Right now, it counts as a necessary evil because I'm out of clothes, but not as cleaning because there's other cleaning that needs to be done - vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, etc.
@Purpsy: I'm doing ok so far, thanks. Do you have anything planned for the day today?

Yes, seriously! I would definitely pay somebody to do the cleaning for me, but I honestly have too much decluttering to do first (the result of being in the same house and raising kids (and not just raising, but homeschooling them) for so many years) before I felt anywhere near comfortable doing that.
@Totalanimefan: No different than yours I suppose. Lots of cleaning.
But I'm so hard procastinating rightnow xD
@Wildfire: Get some cleaning done and other task done so I can focus on my art more.
I just bought a new watercolour set yesterday and is nothing expensive or good quality. Just affordable and beginner friendly for me :3
I'm excited to swatch it and test it out!
Yeah it’s kinda a pain how if you paid someone to clean you have to straighten up a lot.
