@MoodyB: Awe :(
I could never focus at all if I have it so I cancel it on the spot x.x

I hope you feel better soon. I heard drinking something warm helps soothes the pain a little.

@Purpsy: My focus is off since i didn't have
the right amount of coffee. if i don't get the right amount it throws everything off for me
so i just end up losing track of time by doing nothing lol.

I don't really like warm drinks.

really bad periods.

@MoodyB: Power outages are no fun. Had one two days ago and it screwed up my internet for a bit e.e
So you draw in the night? I'm like the opposite and draw mornings or in the afternoon.

@Nephila: Yep your the lucky one xD
I had them really bad in highschool that I had to leave early several times. Thank gawd mines is not bad nowadays.

@Purpsy: Yeah. I use to actually be a night owl until i switched my schedule
which idk how i did it but i did it.
But i struggle doing art in the morning. idk why that is.
but currently i am working on a morning routine. I recently got a yoga ball so i am trying to day by day
get used to it so then eventually i can draw at my desk in the morning.

Normally i draw in bed. but trying to get out of bed more often.

@MoodyB: Nice. I don't have much of a productive morning compare to yours. Just have my coffee while browsing online for awhile. But good for you for making an effort. I'm trying to have short walks outside once a week which is a challenge with me since I'm a shut in with issues.

I get what you mean. I don't draw on early mornings much also unless I'm going straight to painting and got the sketch done already the other day. So early afternoons are my ideal time to do my artworks unless I have a more busier schedule in the future.

Not gonna lie tho drawing in the middle of the night when I can't go back to sleep is my favourite. Some of my favourite drawings are drawn around that time.

@Purpsy: I can totally relate with shut in issues as i haven't really left my house
hardly in 10 years due to a lot of trauma in my life.
I need to also get myself out on walks every now and then.

Normally unless im amped for a specific piece, i tend to do art at night.
but i'd love to do them in early mornings or even afternoons as at night i don't have very much time
between bedtime.

I think my favorite pieces end up on when i start in the late afternoon.
and then i end up finishing them at night.

@MoodyB: I'm honestly glad I'm not the only shut in here TwT
I've been judged harshly for just being a shut in so is hard to even be more open and chat here often. I need my breaks.

Ooh how long do you draw daily? Two hours? Or three hours? My normal is two hours daily. But there was this one time I finish a drawing in five hours x.x Couldn't draw for days after that.

@Purpsy: A lot of my family forced me to interact with my cousin's friends
and where she is from, look highly down at families in poverty like mine so it was not fun.
and it's very hard for me to get out. especially nowadays. so you're definitely not alone.

sometimes it ends up as an hour or an hour in a half. but i don't finish art
within a day. it's usually split into days or even weeks if the project is hard.

@MoodyB: Yeah I can understand that. I've met a few people like that in the past which made me wary to go on any sort of social gatherings for awhile. But I dealt a lot of that to my actual family in the past... We're in good terms now and they apologized once I told them how I felt about it. But it gave me issues in the long run. I'm trying to work my way at it because despite my issues I really like going outside again.

Yeah I do that too but mostly when I'm doing watercolour. I would finish a painting around 2 or 3 days the most. Depends how complicated the sketch I'm going for and stuff.

@Purpsy: I'm so the opposite. i just don't like going out often. I usually like indoor activities. tho i also have to be around people i like to be around to go outside too. A lot of my family just hurt my family way too much and they never apologized for it so im currently just not someone to forgive super easily as they kind of made my family feel that something truamatic happened in my life was our fault in some way. didn't help cook meals or anything so my sister felt she had to take such a huge role in that, which caused her a lot of panic attacks. so i kinda resent them a little still.

Normally if i don't have a vague idea, it takes days or weeks. especially with hands as i am not yet good
at breaking down my hands just yet so if it has a hand pose of any sort it takes me longer to finish.
but I finished a recent digital painting in 4 days. and i loved how it came out overall. tho i still need to work on learning to paint hair.
i think the hair is the only bit i was not satisfied with.

@Wildfire: welcome welcome!
it's been a little dead before a couple days ago so im working to get this place
back up and running so to speak lol.

how are you?

@ChiffonOrange: Hello! How are you today?
