My hubs family will throw a bbq or my hubs grandpa will make lasagna or they take us out to dinner and then after all that my sister in law and brother in law will come over to the grandparents for cake and icecream.

When I lived near my side of the family, we'd go out to eat with aunt's and grandma and cousins if they were in town. And if my uncles were free they'd join us too.

However, last year, I sat with my husband & in-laws (not many friends here) eating noms.

@Purpsy: It’s a white cake with candy bits/sprinkles inside. Not sure if white is the same as vanilla, but I really like it~ I don’t normally like sprinkles, but they taste great inside a baked cake.
