I have a bag of the candy corn pumpkins right now. They're great, but a little goes a long way. Very nostalgic for me.
What I wanna know is why it's so hard to find candy corn in packages that can be passed out to trick-or-treaters? It's always sold loose in big bags. How can something be such a Halloween staple and NOT be packaged for trick-or-treat?? There's tons of it in the stores. What is everyone doing with that much candy corn without even sharing it?
Also black licorice is delicious.

As a child, I have a memory of a helicopter mom trying to warn my parents about Hallowe'en candy--specifically that drugs were being put in child candy buckets. And very specifically, I remember my father asking this woman which house it was because if they're giving away drugs for free then he was bringing his bucket.
