Today was a great day, and now every day should get a little longer. This lack of daylight is exhausting!

Im so looking forward to brighter days, honestly was a bit confused if it was yesterday or today the winter solstice was, thanks to the television ( and people on fb ) being all telling it was either yesterday or today. Aint it just to look at what day is shortest, cause if that is the case it is definilty today. Soon I can be out till longer than 3.30 pm x'D ( yes I have a sort of curfew here in the winterperiod where dummies fire firework when it gets dark, despite it being illegal untill the period between 25th december and 1st january )

Also I saw in the television news that some of the danes have started a tradition where they light a giant fire, and have a good outdoors meal, with thinking back on the viking era as they celebrate the coming of the lighter days. :) it seemed really cozy.

It's not even cold here yet. I think we had like one or two cold days and now it's back to 50's-60's.
I don't mind the shorter days, especially since sunlight tends to trigger migraines, but it does make it feel so much later when it's pitch dark at 7pm.
