PROMPT: Talk to Violet
"Vregory, it's nice to see you again," Violet smiles warmly, "I wonder though... Do you know what a dolphin says when he's confused?"
"Dolphin?" Vreg blinks, before shaking his head, "Should I?"
Violet's eyes lighten up as she grins, holding out her arms wide, "He says 'I'm sorry, can you be more Pacific?"
There's a long silence, too long to be comfortable, as Vreg stares at her. He blinks, before smiling, nodding, "Being pacific is good when someone's confused." This earns a gentle smile from Violet.
"Very true. Welcome back Vreg, can I help you with something?"
"Humm... Mhm," Vreg nods, inhaling before beginning another ramble, "We went fishing with the guy who played volleyball with Virgil and we pulled up this box, is got something inside but don't know what. Val says is magic and you know a lot about magic, you did that very scary spell humm... Do you know how to open it? We got clues but not enough, also friends say to say you have cute looks today."
Violet claps her hands together, giving you a friendly smile, "Oh, that's very sweet of you! Thank you, you all look lovely today as well," she leans in, gently taking the box from his hands as she furrows her brow slightly, looking it over, "Hmm... She is right, it is guarded by a spell... Luckily it's a very simple one to crack, as long as you have all the components. Let me see these clues?" She takes the papers from Vregory's hands, sounding in recognition, "Ahh.. I believe I saw one of these earlier! But where could it have been... Hmm..." She rubs her chin, before smiling, "It couldn't have been far! I haven't moved from this spot since we've got here!"
Return tomorrow for a new location to explore!

PROMPT: Talk to Val
Unsure what to do next, Vreg wanders back to Val, "Hello."
"Hey, what can I do you for?" Val asks, busy tinkering.
"Humm... My friends aren't sure what this box is and they thought you're smart so you should know also thank you for the stuff, it was very good, helpful for our police friend," Vreg nods enthusiastically in a ramble.
"Yeah? Thank the guardians, I was worried it might melt skin off!" Val laughs.
"Wasn't it just a powerful aloe vera...?" Violet chimes in from the background, but is ignored as Val moves to snatch the mysterious box from Vreg's hands, looking it over excitedly, humming to herself thoughtfully as he investigates it.
"It's as clear as day... You need a code to unlock this box. It seems to be running on some kind of magic infused mechanism. But to solve it, you'll need to know what these little symbols mean. Very fishy isn't it? The possibilities are endless without some sort of clue."
You mention that you've found two already, and Vreg takes them out to show her.
"You should have mentioned that sooner! Holding back that information was shellfish of you! Hmm... Well, you're missing one. You're not going to get too far without finding the meaning of that eel right there," she taps the box, smiling as he moves to hand it back, "Unless you want to spend a couple hours trying to guess every number there is, anyway!
You probably would, if you weren't limited by this game's rude mechanics. Too meta?
"Don't get too crabby though, I'm sure you'll find it around here somewhere," Val nods encouragingly, before returning to her work.

PROMPT: Use Small Fish
It's the circle of life, after all.
You toss the fish onto the floor of the pier so Vreg doesn't have to, and the seagull drops the shining object to lunge for the food. In the same instant, Vreg darts forward in a blur to snatch the falling item before it can even hit the wood.
Teamwork at its finest.
Lost 1 Yummy Fish. See you, little guy. o7
Gained 1 Waterlogged Key! Smells like seagull.

PROMPT: Use Fishing Rod
You take a seat on the edge of the pier as Vreg casts the line. You figure it'll be a while, but there's a bite almost as soon as the lure sinks beneath the surface of the water.
"Feels like a big one," Vreg says excitedly as he starts reeling. He's slowly sliding forward and you jump up to help him with Eugene grabbing your ankle. It takes all of you to hoist the line and your catch covers the sun for a moment.
... before a strange box smashes into the pier and almost cracks the wood in half. You blink, but Vreg doesn't seem fazed. He examines it, "Hm, it's locked treasure but none of the keys fit."

"I have a drink for you, ink man," Vreg offers him the beverage.
Vyc looks mildly surprised and sets the rod aside, "Hey, thanks buddy. You really didn't have to."
He nods enthusiastically, "No problem! Am always happy to help."
Lost 1 Cool Drink from inventory.
Vyc takes a hard look at him while adjusting the straw, "Hm, you wanna fish for a while? They've been bitin', so you might get something good. I got some stuff to check up on anyways."
"You mean it?! Would love to if we can," Vreg's eyes sparkle.
"Yeah, sure." Vyc takes a gulp of the drink. "No big deal."

Before Vreg even fully reaches him, Vyc addresses his footsteps without looking back. "Hey bud," he blinks as something tugs on the line. "Ah, hang on a sec..." He starts fighting against what ever fish took the bait. Well, maybe 'fighting' is a generous term as he reels up the culprit in one mighty jerk of the rod.
Vreg and Eugene clap, and you nod to acknowledge the body modder's strength. "Thanks, but that was nothing," Vyc rubs the back of his neck. "Anyway, you're Vreg, right? You need somethin'?"
Vreg shakes his head, "Nope, I'm okay. We're just exploring the beach looking for treasure because me and Eugene have never been to a big spot like this. We've already found some interesting things, and keys to open other things with! Oh, but we also found a good spot near the consi- cunsesh- connection stand-"
Vyc cuts him off with a thinking sound, "The concession stand, huh? Reminds me that I'm pretty thirsty. Maybe I should head on over there."
Vyc says that, but you sense he's not getting up anytime soon.
