I don't work at a bakery but in the restaurant world. It's exhausting. The customer abuse was getting so bad I had to switch to back of house for my mental health. The amount of times people had to wait more than 10 minutes for their food and literally yelling at me for not getting their food out first despite people being ahead of them...wegberjgberg
I couldn't do it anymore. I've been feeling a lot better now that I don't have to deal with customers anymore.
But management really needs to discipline people. Call outs, no shows, overall poor work ethics. Bah.
Today I worked almost 8 hours cuz 2 people called out (one of which was a double, she never returned from her break). They don't write these people up, they don't fire people. Nothing. It was such a bad night too for only 4 people. We made it work but jfc man.

Sorry that was a rant.
The food industry is something I cant wait to leave behind.

2020 sucked in so many ways, but I lost one of my closest friends (unrelated to covid) and also had my heart broken cuz boys suck.
I don't have any hopes for 2021 just because I'm too exhausted to have hope. :c

But my goals are simple:
-Graduate from my school and move on to the next program of study by next Janaury.
-Be moved into my new place for school in December.
-Have a min of 2K saved.
-Be able to speak Spanish more fluently.

@Ava: I don't really know how to cook lol. I try sometimes and it never works out. I want to learn but idk...it wasn't something I was ever good at.

@Ava: I very rarely eat ground beef or anything cow related now because I'm sick of it, I'm sick of most meat tbh. I've thought about being a vegetarian but I cant afford the life style. :c

@Ava: They also love scratches! So I could just show up with some kind of prickly thing and just scratch scratch and they'd love it. Cows are so precious.

Please send the snow to me. I haven't had a white christmas since I left the north over 10 years ago. :c
