@Lady Luna: Hehe, I'm okay over all. I do have spinal issues from other accidents (namely the one where I was hit by a car while on my bike, I think) but... Eh, I'm alive. And dad is too~ And like, right in the other room. xD

Also I fear people. That helps keep me hidden too.

@Lady Luna: As I said, we're moving targets. Fun part is it was one of my mom's radio buddies and it was a head-on collision. Their gear shifter stopped working or something. Also we were like a block from home.

@Lady Luna: Oooh no I meant like an android tablet. I do have a drawing tablet but it already doesn't work anymore (to be fair, it's from when I was a preteen so... it's just really old too). But yeah, cars suck also. Like seriously, my family tends to be moving targets. I was in my first accident when I was two. xD

@Lady Luna: Drivers suck sounds like a pun to me in that I think of both people on the road (whom usually suck) and computer drivers. But um... My tablet died last night when I was waiting for it to restart and fell asleep. I charged it today, and waited an hour for it to boot... It wouldn't boot. I'm not sure if it has to do with a game I downloaded from the play store last night or not, but I did notice when I try to play that game it heats up. But still... It has had time. Dad's gonna try some things now xD

And honestly I see it the same as you with art, but since lots of people don't, it's intriguing o3o

@Lady Luna: True, a lot of people are picky about what is 'art' and what isn't. It's more that they're different types of art. What most people consider art is 'visual arts' like drawing, painting, sculpting, etc. Acting is more along the line of the 'theatrical arts', which are often deemed separate, and writing and poetry are 'literary arts'.

Actually that could be a good discussion thread: What is art to you, and how do you separate them? xD

I'm... hanging in there. My tablet is driving me bonkers today and I have a headache, but that's not really new. I need to work on writing some more... But so far I'm not writing my manuscript again. At least not at the moment. Maybe I'll just do poetry for it for a while... and work on setting up threads? I started writing out my quest thread already. Debating making cruddy banners in paint :'D

I've had to deal with a lot of friend break ups in recent years. The most notable one I can think of is... I had a friend on an RP site who had a bad habit I wasn't aware of for many many months of friendship and writing together. But then, they got in trouble with the site's admin and decided that me, a random person uninvolved with staff etc, would somehow fix it. They persisted in telling me their punishment was proof they deserved to die and they started making suicide threats and ignoring me when I said they needed to get help. Then they basically said it'd be my fault since I couldn't get them no-longer-punished when I wasn't staff and I wasn't involved. The more they said they wanted to die and pushed it as because of being banned and me being not able to lift it, the more my mental health began to go down the garbage. I have personal issues that made it even worse for me- including a past in suicidal thoughts and mental hospitals. Finally, I went to staff to get help and had to block said friend. They tried getting their offline friend to get me to give them another chance, and I explained i needed time (also, they told me I could block them if they were hurting me as badly as I told them they were). They started getting snippy with me through the friend, and later on, through mutual friends that were already part of the site who weren't aware of the situation and ended up needing to be told why I was ignoring that person.

Let's just say that wasn't even the most toxic friendship I've ever had. But it was a horrible end- it had been fun and fine up until then. Seriously... I still don't fully get what happened. ;-;

@Lady Luna: Oooh a writing hangout? I didn't even think of that honestly. Is that a hint that I should do that? Like I thought this fit as a writing hangout since writing is an art and this is an art place. I didn't think of making a sole wording hangout myself.

Now I'm intrigued. Hrm.... Also hi~ how are you? xD

I think my fear of clowns is beyond 'irrational', but... some of my fears feel rational when they're not. For example:

I'm a total pyrophobe. I jump just seeing someone light the stove in front of me (I can't manage to use a gas stove without a panic attack, honestly). Like, I just... I can't.

Being around drunks always make me nervous. I have a pretty good reason for the PTSD behind this, though. But... I know rationally that not all alcoholics are bad. I know not all drunk people are scary. I've seen one of my coworkers drunk and honestly it's fun as heck watching her because the only difference is she's giddier than usual at times and makes more typos. But otherwise? She's the same friend I adore no matter if she's drunk or not.

Thunder and any other loud noise literally send me into fetal position- but to be fair, I hear 10x louder than normal people so what you think of as a normal noise is already super loud to me if you're a normal person with average hearing. I blame that and my migraines.

I'm not so much 'afraid' of the sun as I am despising of it most of the time. It's too bright, gives me a headache, and I burn so easily it's insane.

And my final two: I fear my job of editing is going to be stolen by software like grammarly (though it probably won't be)... and I always fear I'm annoying people when they tell me I'm not. Like I apologize so much more than I should.

Oh... also bees. Keep them as far away from me as possible please. And mosquitoes, since I'm one of their favorite foods.

Ooooh, fellow artsy fartsy people o3o Thanks for reminding me I should make a writing thread at some point. I have a lot of personal threads I need to make still... Someone kick me into gear to write them without making them boring. :'D

@Alatariel: I forget if the one I got was 7 or 8 as a gift like a year or two ago. It was pretty awesome until my computer started hating me anyway and thus haven't gotten to play since. :'D I don't have a Switch so I'll need you to tell me how awesome that version is when it comes out for Animal Crossing <3 Have you played the mobile one? I haven't played it in ages...Oops.

@Unicorn: I use a program called Scrivener- it's a pretty great writing program with some nifty stuff on it, but sadly there's no app likely coming to android that I can find out about >w< It's a bit on the expensive side in my opinion, too- but I got it with a coupon and help from a friend who basically turned my volunteer editing to a commission and paid the difference I got with my coupon. Winning NaNoWriMo is handy for that. Coupons and whatnot. (Though, I got it before NaNo this year by getting a coupon from someone who didn't need their's, then won... and gave mine to someone else who needed it since I'd just gotten it :'D)

I use Google Docs for a lot of things. The mag I work at uses it for all submissions and such, and I'm used to using it for any editing I do now. Like that editing job I just mentioned- I actually made my friend move his term paper I was editing over to docs so I could use the suggestion mode like I'm used to xD

@nyreen: I think that kind of isn't the same, but at the same time, I like it way better. A council with an agent sent to stop the chaos is a great method! It makes me think of a secret organization of some kind keeping an eye on things and seeing the ruin and trying to help... And then maybe as the agent is on the task, they end up with a sidekick as they help others during calming spirits that are creating mischief to get their ire out?
