@Saeyra: No I didn't! But... To be fair, I've been keeping up with so many threads I didn't look very hard yet. I need to go work on that. Just join us in being book loving nuts then. And poem loving. Since you already seem to. <3

@Boss Rimi: Why the hiding? I like BL too. And GL. and L. And just manga. I mean... what? I like lots of stuff. You should recommend for me though sometime o3o

Wait wasn't the first book also with a color? Am I totally off here? But I mean, as long as you enjoy it, that's good. for me it was a bit much. I got too embarrassed. I was also just bad with anything dirty-ish minded at the time though, because I have anxiety with that stuff. I'm better now to some degree. Sorta. Maybe.

Yeah, I know the basics have to do with the steam engine and stuff... Does that count? But also I agree. Normal is overrated. Like super so.

I mean it's not that he makes a big deal about coffee the entire time, just for one small moment. Because honestly, a LOT of writers love coffee. I don't, really, but... I do love caffeine outside that. Like right now I'm drinking diet soda with tea (which I should probably finish and stop drinking since it's almost 11PM xD). And when I think of someone making a big deal about coffee, it'd be how it's made more than just the importance of it. But this new portion about the history also explains the science of why it can be helpful for writers, like it being an antidepressant, how it affects the brain and body in general, etc. And history can be fun. I'll stick to soda mostly though. I only like coffee if it's like 50% milk xD

@star2000shadow: What's got your leg upset? And doin' okay, you?

@Boss Rimi: That's our dads though, not us. What are YOU obsessed with?

To be honest, I had to google to find out the main character's name 'cause i couldn't read the whole thing and it was ages ago and etc... But yes. Also there's a color in the other's name. How's that work? I mostly know it from cultural osmosis (what's embarrassing is I have the first book 'cause my dad saw it was big with women in the news and got it for me... xD)

I know others who'd like Boneshaker because zombie obsession. It's kind of funny actually to imagine it. Steampunk zombies... I barely get steampunk half the time, so for me, just trying to figure that out can be a difficult thing. Genres vary a lot nowadays though. Sometimes it's easier not to think abotu them xD

Yep! The line I was looking for had to do with coffee so I stared at that part for a bit instead. See, in the original... Coffee is a big deal at one point, but basically it was said that he'd probably be told you don't *need* coffee to write a novel, but he's not gonna agree with it that easily. But way funnier when he wrote it. I could totally just get the original out to find that but... Meh. I'm lazy right now.

@Mica: Was or is? 'Cause he still is my dad and a writer and I live with him. We work together to some extent in that... He helps me make sense of some of my thoughts sometimes. And will more in the future for sure. xD He's always encouraged my writing for that reason. And when I was a kid, I tended to beg him to make up stories instead of reading me them because his were more fun for me (partially because he put me in them). He was way better at it than my dad. My other request was always don't sing because he sucks I mean what

I had to find it but here's the one I really like about my migraines. I wrote it like... *peeks at date she put it on DA* 3 years ago mid-April wow.
-->My best friend is the darkness.

It's shared my pain and tears.
On good days, it envelopes me to share the joy
And on the bad, acts as a shield from the world.

-->Woe is having a body.

It shouldn't feel like this at all.
Like my brain was replaced
With a dense, ten-ton brick.

-->There's no reason it should be so difficult.

Just to walk from one step to the next,
Without the feeling I'm a mere ping pong
bouncing down the hall with zest.

-->This pain is the greatest torture.

Even if you deserve to die, you don't deserve this dismay-
To live with pain that makes you want to die,
But yet you live another day.

-->My stomach is in knots.

I can't eat anything without feeling worse.
Yet there's no acid in my stomach to cause it-
Just a part of this burden, this curse.

-->And so I hide in darkness.

The light can't reach me here.
It can't show my eyes its splendor,
And make a burden of breathing air.

-->The darkness is my drug.

It calls me towards it every time.
Just one drop relieves me a bit
From the pain in which I writhe.

-->And so my best friend is darkness.

No human can take away the pain.
While they're great in some situations...
They're the worst thing for a migraine.

As for Voltra... Loving it so far! I derped a bit today but otherwise I'm happy. I have like at least one full set if not two. I'm not sure why or how I managed to do that, but... I did. I have a ton of fuses to use up now so I should check what I have to make more full sets. I like that I don't need to really have more than one of an item with multiple uses :D I found the site through facebook when I was finally getting back into it. (May or may not have known some people on other sites and be friends on fb and stuff xD)

EDIT NOTE: I input --> next to indented lines that were supposed to be but failed to do so when I c/p'd xD

@Ina: I do that sometimes but it's usually not for pushing my brain to stay on track. Self talk is a big thing for me in general. But actually, I also talk to myself doing the dishes and the other day... I started doing dishes and telling myself all the plot holes I knew I already had xD

@Saeyra: I need you in my life for those things. Take me in plz. xD But yeah, sometimes it's also just hard to remember a poem when it strikes you even when you go to write it down. He should look for them to read you too. It's good you share in general though.

@RoseyWitch: I mean it's not *my* literary magazine. I don't own it by any means. I just edit and submit to it. And love the people like family. Y'know, it's like that xD Oh? Writing a novel in April is perfect 'cause CampNaNo~ also in July and November... But I mean, any month is a good month. You can also use poetry *in* your novel! Or just write some about the process. Sometimes, it's easier to write a poem than a story. And other times, it's the opposite. Write what comes to you, but I vote since it's a poetry thread... I should push you to put poems into your novel as you work on it for the month~ If nothing else, you can try writing a poem from your main character (or some other character's) perspective~ That's actually what mine in mine are for xD

@Ina: You don't wanna know how much I daydream. The problem is daydreams are never about the things I want to daydream about half the time. I mean they are but... Not what I *should* I guess? Somehow it's always some other story. :'D

@Ina: I don't have anything I particularly want. Just whatever would be fun for you to draw xD I'm too lazy to make decisions. Also I'm just indecisive. Draw yourself, draw a stick figure... Just something to keep you drawing like I hope to keep writing lots.

At least you did one attempt let alone two right?

Yeah, for me it's like... I just say eff it and keep trying to make it make sense and then finally realize "logic kinda might be helpful" and cry in a corner.
Then I work on a new lacking logic thing because what is an attention span anyway?

Can the C.L.O.W.N. help me manage to smell non-dangerous things when I have no sense of smell?
Good to know it's gonna stay even after things calm down. I'll need time to be up to buying a whole set.
Y'know... 'cause different colors might have different powers. I can't tell.

@Mica: My dad writes sci-fi, poems of his own, things like that. His sci-fi is more heavy-duty than mine. Like super in depth thought on the science behind things etc. He worries a lot about it being accurate on those things. My accuracy is important to me on some things too, but... It's fiction, so I also don't mind if I fudge things up a lot. Or make it up. Y'know.

Hehe, I post more than I should considering I just joined and whatnot. And again, it's mid-camp now. Well... still early but... Well, I'll manage. Drawing and writing are great therapies! I write poetry even more when I'm not feeling well. One of my favorite poems I ever wrote was about a migraine I was having at the time xD Posting is good for it too in some ways. But yes- the rats are super cute! I have two or three now I think. I forget. I also just bought two extra easter baskets >> xD

@Ina: Oh? What does she want you to draw for her? Draw me something too plz... I say kidding (half). For me, I don't mind writing things for my dad. Actually, what my dad really wants is to co-write stuff 'cause what I lack skill in he's best at, and what he sucks at is what I'm super good with. Like seriously, he sucks at character development... and I suck at logic. :'D

@Boss Rimi: We have a ton of her books at home because my dad is obsessed with her In Death series that she writes under a pseudonym. I mean, I like it too, just... Not as much as he does by any means. I don't read it much because I'm bad with murder mystery stuffs. The Sign of Seven trilogy is kinda creepy in its own way though. It's a supernatural romance but honestly I find it more like a paranormal mystery/occult fiction. *hides remembering things*

Yes I have a guess. It embarrasses me to think about. So... you may be able to guess if I'm right. If not, I can either PM you my guess or just say it here and embarrass myself. As for the Leviathan Series... I have friends who love writing and reading about wars and steampunk so I may have to recommend that to them now. Thank you~

And the original was awesome and full of humor. Hopefully this one will still have it too. *checks if her favorite part is still there* I can't find the line but there's literally a section about the history of coffee explaining why it's helpful. Also a page dedicated to "how to get rid of your kids so you can write" xD
