What *is* Syndrone? I don't know why that sounds familiar but it does. Oh well. *prepares burial*

@Unicorn: What matters is that you feel rewarded with such a sweet child~ I think that's an important part of parenthood! Though I'm not one... xD

I found this poem while actually reading the literary magazine I work for for a change. I love the imagery and correlation used between the pull between people and the pull between planets. Please see the original here.

Note: I took out line spacing to save space so it might be a little off honestly. >w<

"Autopilot" by Ciello Maxin:

The rises and falls are frequent,
somehow,
should there exist a possibility
of waves being locked in,
no,
waves being pumped from
this cardiac muscle?
The walls of my chest
must be holding
the bottom of an ocean,
A barrel, quite strong enough
to hold crests and troughs
A drum, so loud
so loud only when you’re near.
I could not be mistaken,
could I?
Science has taught me
that the moon can pull
all moving waters
the Earth cannot hold onto.
You must be made out of
the celestial bodies I’ve known
like the back of my hand,
affecting,
no,
messing
with all the supposed
gravitational pull,
How can you pull
all heartstrings in my chest,
the ones I can never hold onto?
I must be a planet.
The rises and falls are frequent,
somehow,
since when did my heart
start running on autopilot?

@Saeyra: That's true! Time for me to look for some awesomesauce~

@Unicorn: Difficult but rewarding, I hope. I can't help but assume she's adorable~ Since she sounds sweet.

@Saeyra: That's true! I could totally just share some off my litmag... But... That'd feel wrong without linking to it, which is basically just forceful advertising. xD Maybe I'll stick to my daily poems I get emailed.

@Saeyra: That's why I figured I need to think hard to figure out what to share xD To be honest, I could always just take something out of the Poetic Edda, which is a Norse mythology book... Mythology poems can be great fun. But Nordic ones are a pain to type out even after translations to me xD

@Unicorn: I see, so she's a definite daddy's girl huh? But if she naps, it'll be sooner when he gets home!
Posted in Who Would Voice Your Character(s)? Posted 6 years ago
It's hard for me to choose who would do a voice for me, but... Looking at the few voices I remember from shows I watch and such, my current wip's MCs would be voiced by...

Actually I feel like Gabriel Iglesias or Dana Carvey could easily voice all my characters.
One of mine though, Jin... Totally needs like a deeper tone similar to Neil Patrick Harris or Joel McHale. I dunno why.
Also Adatia is definitely Jim Parsons. And Hortense can be Mark Harmon. xD

When I was little, I had a few I was really big on... Depending on what age range you mean for 'when I was young'.
My first anime was Cardcaptor Sakura. After that, as I got older and manic, I began staying up late at age 10-12 watching late night anime like Cowboy Bebop (and later, with my dad, Outlaw Star) and .hack//SIGN which I was honestly obsessed with and have rewatched since... along with the others. xD And, if you have any interest in Norse Mythology... Matentei Loki Ragnarok (Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok) was a great gift I got as a teenager for my birthday. Oh, and also Case Closed/Detective Conan. I loved that so much. Basically both of them are little kid-like detectives actually. xD

I love that recently, Cardcaptor Sakura has gotten a new installation~ I should rewatch the original series while I wait for whenever the next episode of Clear Card comes out. I'm not sure if they're done for the season or taking a break. >w<

@Glume: I wanted to make sure, because it's rare people say the full phrase 'traditional medium' to me, so I wasn't sure if it meant something extra specific or not, though it felt like it wasn't. And no limits, huh? Do you do mixed media sometimes too? o3o

Yeah, mythology is a real thrill ride many times. One of my favorite myths is when Loki went to a banquet in valhalla and just kept causing trouble until he was chased out and the chase between him and Heimdall is just... yeah xD But a rainbow serpent is probably even more interesting to me than Jormundgand since rainbow~

@star2000shadow: I know it stinks having to watch what you eat and having so many specific restrictions/requirements. But... I also know it can at least help the pain. Aren't you on antibiotics also...? I feel like that'd be needed.

Also what'st hat exercise I should probably try it.

About to try listening to a song my boyfriend recommended/was listening to that sounded neat when I looked at the lyrics.
Until Eternity - Blackbriar
Posted in Huzzah! Posted 6 years ago
@Glume: What makes something traditional-medium? That sounds like a broad spectrum to me anyway. What do you like to make images of? And when you pixel, what do you like to make? Anything in particular?

I don't believe I know of the rainbow serpent deity! Tell me more. And maybe use it as a picture prompt 'cause it sounds pretty.
