And then she found the print on his left. Without thinking about the heat, the rune that she could feel beneath his skin and threatening to break free. She resisted the urge to tell him to just let go as her hand wrapped around his wrist, curse on curse.
The contact was made, and even if he did drop the rune, it wouldn't be a problem.
But he could feel it starting to calm down. It didn't take long, about forty seconds, before she released it.
"Better?" She asked as she took a step back from the heat source he was.

She stepped up, ignoring the presence of the rune that she could feel at the edges of everything.
"Where'd she touch you?" She asked, her voice curious, figuring that it would be the quicker way to do this.

"He's fine." was all she said before looking back to Lindsay.... Or rather, the blaze that was contained there
"Did not know you could kill him." She added, sounding honestly impressed before pausing.
"... Or that you had." She admitted.
"... wow, I really am a mess right now." she muttered

"....... Don't make assumptions, Gi." she said simply. It probably sounded forced, but she really hoped that if she ever got her head put back together again, Giana would hear her out.

She didn't say anything before grasping it, ignoring the heat and burn from it. Even Lindsay could feel Giana calm down. As Erica released her hand and stepped back, the heat died down, pretty much entirely. Erica, meanwhile, just made her way to the door, intending to leave.
