"As a result, she made sure that I an the others who were often not in the complex were aware of various intricacies regarding her and her mana." She continued.
"And I am enough of a freak of mana that I am capable of causing the Fyrane rune to just drop abruptly and unexpectedly if I were to put the effort out." She told him. "Ties in with how my mana is technically uncontrollable chaos."

"Grey eyes are not a natural sight to see?" She asked after a moment or two.
"And I can cover what makes me stand out." She then said. "Have no fear. I will not draw attention to you for accompanying an unnatural freak somewhere." There was nothing to her voice, it was merely a statement.
It didn't bother her to call herself a freak, at all.

"Of course. That would be around... five in the afternoon?" She asked.
"Yeah, about there. Probably a little earlier to make good time." Ash answered. Hazel just nodded.
"I am not sure how travel will be for me, I admit, however, only one way to find out."

If there was anything that Hazel excelled at, apparently, it was cleaning.

"Might be good." Ash answered.
"Yeah, of course. This is my number." Harmony told him before rifling off her number for him.
"Let me know if anything changes. You don't need to give me a heads up about your roommate coming or not. " She added

"Anyhow, the coordinates are..." She paused, and once he assured her he had a pen and paper, she gave them to him.
"There's a cafe in that plaza that we can meet for. How about... about noon tomorrow? We can meet for lunch, my treat." She told him. She had no idea if that would be too soon or not, but Vincent had told her that the sooner the better.

"There's a rather large fireplace down there too. One there, and one in the main room. And yes, they are connected, so you do have to take care." She continued.
"I'm reasonably certain there's plenty of space for two people." She assured him. "I live alone otherwise." She paused here.
"And I'm just on the edge of the limits for London." She finally answered. Ash paused.
"Huh. You don't have an accent." He commented.
"... Nor do you. Phone number is in Ireland, yet you don't really sound Irish." She countered.
"And I mean in Canada. I can give you coordinates for somewhere we can meet, if you would prefer. I cannot let you mana right onto my property, as I have extremely powerful barriers. I would need you here first, to add you to the 'ignore' list, before you can mana in."

"I got your number from Vincent Remmington. We had been chatting, and he mentioned how you were looking to move." She continued.
"I have a basement apartment that, while it does need to be properly cleaned out of all the dust and random stuff I've stashed in there for storage... it's perfectly livable." She told him honestly.
"Assuming sharing a house with another woman wouldn't be an issue, of course."

"If... If you are sure." She commented, her voice quiet.
"Good luck with finding a new home." She added after a moment or two.

About a week later, Ash's phone rang. When he answered it, it was a woman he didn't know the voice of.
"Hello," She greeted kindly, "Am I speaking with AJ?"

"I am so sorry." She said, her voice quiet.
"Thank you, Squeaks." She said, gratitude in her voice. She didn't know his name, only knew him as 'Squeaker' from the others. At no point had names actually come up while they were there, as they were more than a little caught up in everything else.
