"Hey Jake." Kiah greeted with a wave, and a yawn.

"Good to see this place hasn't gone up in flames yet." She added.

"any idea about the state of the Lab? She asked, her voice curious. "Since neither of us have been here for a bit."

"Gem stepped up, along with Aedan, to keep the place running well enough. No new projects have come up, they had those working there largely just organising the disaster zone you call a lab." Jake answered with a light laugh. Kiah just sighed.

".... yeahhhh. See, that was organised chaos, I swear." Kiah countered.

"Oh, and since I know you're going to want to know... Hazel's doing all right. She's still.... well, I'm sure you can imagine, but she's slowly getting better. Ty being there IS helping, from what I've been able to gather."

The redhead in question was sitting on the couch, just staring forward. Or at least she would be were she not blinded by the material she normally kept there.

She didn't say anything. However, if Ty were to actually speak to her, she would respond. She just wouldn't speak until spoken to.

Best case scenario, Bast came and helped. However, that wasn't likely with the fact that he was in lockup for the moment.

"You'll get a chill here, considering where we are and how we have someone who is... ahhh... shall we say a freezer? that lives here." Vae commented.

"I'll be back in a few with some coffee for you, and this tea that should, hopefully, help Hazel." She added before heading off. She paused at the doorway though.

"You have free reign here. If you need to do things that most people would be private, we won't judge you." With that, she was gone.

"Yeah. Go do that." Vae said.

"I'm going to go make tea for the three ladies. Ty, have a seat. This... isn't going to be easy. I can't use my mana to override my nephews without serious repercussions to either me, or her." She told the regenerator.

"I'll be back in a few with the tea for her. You want anything?"

Vae was silent, matching Ty's gaze.

"Good enough." She said simply before looking to Jun.

"Right, tea. Is the kitchen usable?" She asked. "I know that there was the bust water pipe, but I have no idea if that was fixed."

Vae looked over toward them, nodding to Ilias before meeting Ty's gaze.

"Tell me why you're a good choice for Hazel." She stated.

"Ilias, Kiah's through that door with her sister. They're both sleeping, but you're welcome to sit with them, or her, until she wakes." she told the shorter of the two newcomers.

"Yeah, she's through that door over there." The cold woman stated, motioning over to the door in question.

"Downstairs and ... she'll be somewhere down there. Probably in the first large living space you come across." She added after a moment.

"And don't worry, I was told you guys would be coming, regarding the redhead she brought back."

"I expect she'll come off indifferent and start planning to take the bitch out." Vae commented after a moment or two.

"I'm not sure she's bound to the same rules as I am, due to her exile." She added after a moment or two.

"That may be all it iss, and this may be all that is needed. That elf got her claws into her son. That's enough for HER."

"Oh, they're asleep." Vae told him honestly.

"I can't do anything about the effects, so I just got them sleeping. Figured that'd be the easiest way for them to end up cleared of the damned mana." She added.

"since Bast either couldn't, or wouldn't, remove his."

"I like causing destruction, what can I say?" Vae asked.

"Anyway, you don't need to hang around if you don't want to." She commented.

"I know you don't like the cold too much." She added with a laugh. "Although I've got two high heat people in the other room, if you wanna sit and stay warm."

Vae shrugged.

"No idea if you're going to be able to see him." She told him honestly.

"He's in holding, I think, at the Unit. You're welcome to go stop by, but I don't know if they will let you in or not for that."

"That... I think might be in the works." Vae commented.

"Because I certainly won't expect anyone here to be that person for her at the moment." she added after a moment or two as she accepted the tin and pulled out her phone. With a few quick motions on it, she nodded, put it back in her pocket and looked to Lex.

"Money is on the way to you." She stated

"Through paypal, admittedly."

"Yo." Vae greeted Alex before smirking.

"Let's just say that she was giddy enough that everyone got a break from her hell." She told him simply.

"Anyway, yes. Hi Alex." She said, looking over to the newcomer.

"And there's Alex." Vae commented before sighing.

"I don't get involved with the more business side of the realms. Not interested. However, I know some things, like how part of the contract that encrae has puts her as my mothers plaything upon death." she continued.

"She was... Rather thrilled when Elizabeth agreed to that, too."
