I was born in florida. Lived there most of my life, spent 4 ish years and texas and now I'm in chilly ol' colorado xD
I do miss the beaches but I love snow~
@Jolly: I miss the beaches too. I’m from South Florida. I have never lived in Texas but now I live near San Jose and San Francisco in the north and it gets cold here. It doesn’t snow but it does in the mountains.

but yeah, now I'm northern CO and its a big culture change for me! plus snow. the autumns are amazing, albeit short cause it usually starts snowing around october
@Jolly: oh cool. I just grew north of west palm beach on the Atlantic Ocean and honestly I miss the east coast all my family and friends are there except for the small amount of friends I’ve made here. Also the cost of living is like damn
But I also like living in a place with a lot of people, and I like the job market. Plus I studied Japanese and there are lot of chances for me to use it.

I have plans after I graduate to save up here (CO has a higher min wage) and then move to the south again. Probably texas somewhere, I enjoyed my time there a lot. Just.. not live by Houston again cause they cray
I very much miss living in a 'big place' like cities and such, with lots of people. there are a lot of people here but in a tiny squeeze and it still gets that small town effect sometimes.

Maybe look into Austin? It’s in Texas but is growing but also has a good feel about it.

According to my dean, my license should definitely work in texas when I get it. If not, I'll probably have to take additional classes.

I've only had bad experiences with dentists. Like when I had one filling done and they decided they didn't need to numb me only because the cavity wasn't sensitive.
and another time where they drilled and left a hole in my tooth during a cleaning?? So hopefully this time doesn't go poorly xD
@Jolly: Ouch that really sucks. I'm sorry that you had a bad time. It's really hard to overcome. I have had a bad time at the Dr's office.

Yeah same, its just hard trusting anyone when you're not a kid anymore. Like you start to realize just cause someone has that job, doesn't mean they know how to do it ethically or correctly ;
