I've heard from the horse's mouth that the event forum will remain up until at least noon Voltra time tomorrow, after which he'll begin the process of closing/locking/moving things as soon as he's able.
Get your last minute goodies in and save what you need! You can also ask us to move threads until then, and save them from the event forum "purge", haha

Ooh~ Thanks for the info! Really wish it wouldnt all disappear. There should be an Event Archives forum. I like reading old event threads. And the stories/info/lore from the sticky threads would still be available for new people to read.

I think it's planned, but I can't really speak much on what the layout goal is.
