it's like local seasonal produce you can get from farms nearby :-) a lot of grocery stores source their produce from p far away, like a lot of food will travel pretty far before it reaches you
it's a little pricier than what you would find but it goes more directly to the farmers, packers and distributors (vs. getting sucked to the top execs w traditional food supply chains) -- it's not always the most affordable option but if i can i try to support it!
