@Koah: I think it's the whole country going nuts with eggs and pricing (again)... I don't know what my son paid for the 18 we now have, but yeah... I was astounded at the price the last time I personally bought some...

Yeah... kids seem to be well-behaved as long as there's an attentive, interested and involved parent in the mix (who is actually willing to parent).

I'm glad you got a break. How is the little one... now that he's been bitten (seems like a weird rite of passage)

He's fine, surprisingly, he's still trying to keep up with the toddlers even though it seems like he's got a red target on him. He's been pushed, kicked, hit, and bitten today... but he keeps hanging out with the gaggle of tiny human spawns. e.e' I guess he's just willing and ready to be in their 'big' kid space.
I'm glad I'm not one of those "OOoh Oh no!!!" reactive type moms.
My baby has a slight cold today too, so he's coughing and crying, getting hit and crying, hungry... and crying. A lot of tears today.

My mom is a tough cookie, she knows she needs to stay down but this break is far less painful than the other two.

Did you end up getting yesterday's work finished up?

@Wildfire: lol yeah, he's making me realize he's likely a kid/person that will never slow down. XD Almost 10 months old already and keeping up with toddlers.

@Koah: Apparently I had an oil leak I didn't know about that sparked and spread to the hoses. I woke up to a car that wouldn't start, and when I popped the hood there were ashes on my engine block! Could have been a lot worse as I believe it only took out the hoses but yikes.

My day is going alright so far. I have one parent unhappy with me, and they haven't dropped their kid off yet [they will], so I'm just not looking forward to that interaction.
I'm glad I set my computer up and have voltra handy. <3 It's a bit of a stress reliever/break.

Oh man that wind today is so cold! I had to go out to bring in the lawn trash bins before they blew around the neighborhood and man was I glad to get back inside. Sorry to hear the pollen's getting to you.

Good morning! I have no plans, other than probably cleaning up after my roommate in the kitchen. She made split pea soup with ham that spent most of the night on the stove and good lord I'm scared of it. :I But also she's made a mess and I can smell stuff on the stovetop being burned and uuuugh.

Other than that I'm probably just gonna play Minecraft all day lmao.
