I've been REALLY ill the past week. Sleeping mostly, and if I'm awake the last thing I wanna do is get on my computer. xD; Luckily I'm starting to feel better, and I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday.

I have no idea what I am doing.
I find it kinda hard to make conversation with strangers that I don't have anything in common with. I gotta post more to find people I have stuff in common with.. but sometimes posting just feels like a chore and there really isn't that much else to be doing. :vanora_sweat:
It feels kinda like the only reason I wanna post is to get Volts to buy items for cute outfits. I wish I had other motivators, like actually caring about talking to people, but I just don't. Maybe that sounds really harsh. D:

It's kinda like when I was a teenager I had all the time in the world to sit around Gaia posting all day and loafing around, and now I'm older my time is much more limited and I have to be a lot more selective about how I spend it. So making small talk on internet forums is really not high on my priority list. If I wanna socialise on the internet I'll generally go to very specific forums that fit what I'm interested in chatting about, like anxiety or PTSD forums. I /want/ to enjoy avatar forums the same way I did when I was a kid, but I just can't experience them the same. :vanora_sick:

@Dotty: I get where you are coming from :D I was like too for a long time...until Voltra opened XD I didn't really care to do chit chat with other people because I was so busy in real life or have things to do that are more important that posting online. Now, I try to make some times for it...I don't need to, but I want to get in touch with some of my old friends again...most of them are on here right now, and I haven't seen them in a few years in the Avi-verse.

There's a new pet forum site up and coming and I'm pretty excited about that, because I know I can log on and just do pet related stuff and not have to chat to people if I don't feel like it. Here at Voltra chatting is all there is to do, so when I'm not in the mood to be social I have no reason to log on. I kinda think that the Sewers feature might help that though?

@Dotty: I know what site you are talking about, I was going to try and join that, but I'm not much of a pet person....I never really like those pet sites, it just not my thing. I know they have avatar feature too, but It's mainly about pets. It looks really fancy and well put together, that's for sure. Yeah, chatting is not for everyone, some people just want to be left alone sometime and not have to socialize with other people. I can be like that here and there. That's true, I have a friend too who said he wants more features on the site because he's getting tired of just posting. I am also looking forward to the marketplace.
I get you guys. If there was also other games, more clothing etc it would help bring people here. But at the same time the site is new, and those things will come. Just sucks waiting for them XD

I honestly think (but have no knowledge of this, coding wise) that they should focus on a layering system and whatnot before being in a rush to put new items out there. I know they're currently in the process of making a masking system and stuff, but I would think it'd be harder to work on that while continuously pumping out new items?
No idea how all that works, but I'm OK with them taking their time on new things to make the existing stuff polished. I may be singular in that opinion though.

I think the trouble with taking their time is that people are gonna wander off and get bored, and are much less likely to return because they wont be as invested in the site as someone who has stayed around. That being said, I would rather something take longer but be more polished than having a load of rushed half finished features.
Panda: I think there are gonna be some cool text based adventures as part of it, so possible there would be things to do beside pets, but I can understand why that wouldn't be everyones cup of tea. Personally, I'm pretty excited about it. And the amount of funding they've received.. oh boy.

Personally, i've been working a lot more. With winter and holidays sneaking up on me, I need a lot of extra money for heat and presents. So yeah, overtime = a dead Közi. :/ I'll be on a lot more this weekend, though. Hopefully the event won't be too dead by then. Knowing my luck lately, it will be over already. ;_;
