Yesterday I purchased quite a few of those Jamaican patties from a local stand nearby. I always go past them but never try and they usually have quite a crowd and line outside. I managed to get inside with good timing before the lunch rush so I have quite a few leftovers. I was surprised at what the best ones were.

@Totalanimefan: I feel you on that. Plus, with the darkness happening earlier it makes it kind of difficult to gauge the time of day.

We bought the fresh pasta. We don’t have the attachments or the counter space to make it fresh ourselves. ^^;
@blue yes! It getting dark so early makes me have no idea what time it is. It’s like this for me every winter.

That's true, for us, it's gonna be but cold here, but I also don't have to leave and go anywhere.
@Totalanimefan: yeah, it helps. but i get impatient. I've also learned to put mayo on the outside of the bread rather than butter, and to only flip it if the bread moves and detaches from the pan itself no sooner.
@blue: Same here. Just relaxing, now that I'm home for the night. Trying to steadily build enough currency for a bundle or two.
@Aisukohi: I'm having a good day- just watching the christmas beauty and the beast movie on disney+ with my gf. Though, even though it's like a 90 minute movie it's kinda taken us 7 hours to finish it. we have like 20 minutes left in it lol we keep having to pause cause her kid's loud and doesn't listen.

I thought about subscribing to Disney+, but I already subscribe to so many other streaming platforms that I feel like I might as well pay for cable at this point. xP I know the feeling of taking forever to watch something because of a rowdy kid. My 5-year-old does that sometimes with me lol.

@wildfire: dinner ended up being bacon pan fried with fresh pasta and I don’t think I can ever boil fresh pasta ever again. So much better when pan fried!
