@Totalanimefan: I'm paying just over 3.5k a semester.
@Hardcore Uvula: That's about what I'm paying but in US dollars (A little more 3.7k) but for an American school that's considered pretty cheap. ^^;
@Totalanimefan: Wow, that is! Do you get anything like gov assistance for the school (FAFSA I think its called)? I don't qualify here because I'm not a citizen.
@Hardcore Uvula: Yeah there is FAFSA, I applied but didn't get anything. It's ok. I had saved up almost enough money and then when Rona hit I was spending way less without the commute or eating out and things like that. So then I had enough to just pay for it. Where are you from?

@Hardcore Uvula: Nice! What made you change countries?
@Totalanimefan: I was in a Long Distance relationship (which gets capital letters because it lasted for 13 years) with an Australian. Four years ago, I was finally able to move here and get married. =3 And about 1.5 years ago, I was granted permanent residency.
@Hardcore Uvula: Wow that's amazing!! I'm happy that it worked out for you both! I married a Brit. I went to Uni in England for two years. We excited to move to the US. He has his green card and wants to apply for citizenship.

@Hardcore Uvula: Thanks. I'm trying to get the timezones to work out for us. What's your job?
@Totalanimefan: I work at the local Recycling Center as a a worker in the shop there. The people who work the yard get good stuff others throw away and then I sell it in the shop! It's a fine enough job, even if it is heavily part time.

@Totalanimefan: I start back in Feb, actually! I'm on summer break right now.
