@sunny: I mean basically it's just using jam as a sweetener, but I'm not entirely sure how lemon/black tea combo ended up as "put jam into tea".

@Virgil: Perhaps some jam with the crumpet? You folks have jam with crumpets right? Or was it scones? Honestly, I can't keep track and I suppose it doesn't make much of a difference in the end. Have some jam.

oh gosh the NPCs are actually interacting with people and I'm both thoroughly unnerved and mildly entertained.

I'm super excited that there is such variety in the games and contests. I'll maybe do the art or coloring one and keep up with the game board one most likely.

After you are left alone, the bottom bit reads that there's a faint light. You should be able to see a thin white line to represent the light. Turn or move mirrors as needed to get that light to shine on the scope. That will activate the looking glass for you to go through.
