@diavolos: Yeah being back on the forum life is rather nostalgic. Though I think I'm more used to fast paced messaging on Discord or something. I use to be pretty active on Ernya! Been around on Gaia for even longer and a bit on Syndrone, but wasn't super involved with the communities there. Yourself?

@Totalanimefan: I was actually thinking that the avatars on Voltra remind me a bit of Syndrone. I'd say the community here is similar to Ernya in the early years though. I wasn't around as much near the end of Ernya, but if they got divorced, there's not much you could do about it. Maybe there are just too many unpleasant memories associated that they closed it instead of sold it. I would have liked purely having dream avatar creator stick around so I could play around, but that's just me.

@LilMissKushy: Thank you! I will always welcome more variety, but I think I have more than enough to make some cool avatars already. Anything I want is probably a niche themed item most likely... how about you? What other kinds of items would you like to see here?

@xvz: Total's second donation to the cause, and I'm more than halfway through the funds. But damn will my avatar look cute in commons when I'm done. A kind soul donated some event items to me from last Halloween, so I've been making good use of them as they're right up my aesthetic alley! I'm currently attempting to recreating one of my favorite looks from an old avatar site I used to be on a lot.

@xvz: Hello and thanks! Perhaps I shall listen to your advice and do the breadstick meme with Total's volts and keep binging on commons.... (jk)

@Miss Sandman: We don't talk about Syndrone lol. The style of avatars there are similar to here. The same painted shading technique + color palette application is used I think.

@Miss Sandman: ah that's unfortunate. Well, Voltra seems like a good place to do similar things!

Definitely agree on the event items. I saw the Halloween candy themed items and had a moment. Like pastries, witches, and like cute colors...I'm all over it.

@Totalanimefan: This community is incredibly generous. I'm surprised people donated anything at all! I guess it helps that people seem to have event items and daily items lying around handy.
