I saw this alligator at Walmart. It looks like it's just sitting on the shelf stuck in some kind of internal turmoil.

@Trixie Kay:
Ironic given how in the past women were dissuaded by society from the macabre and gruesome things. It wasn't lady-like. A woman shouldn't see such things.

We all know that statistically women have had a higher fascination with True Crime. But it's always been that way. A vast majority of fans amongst Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series were women. In fact they roited in the streets when Doyle first announced that he wasn't going to finish the series. At that time it wasn't just Sherlock Holmes. "Locked-room" mysteries were a thing. the reader is presented with a puzzle and encouraged to solve it before finishing the story and being told the solution.
These stories are so-called because they involve a crime, normally a murder, which takes place in a "locked room". But even before that, Arabic crime novels like One Thousand and One Nights were primarily favored amongst women. This fascination goes all the way back to the Chinese Song dynasty. Gong'an, a form of crime based puppetry or oral poetry was popular with women.
This fascination with crime fiction isn't just a modern trend. Women have always been drawn to it. I figured its so they know what to look out for, since being a woman is dangerous business. But there have to be other reasons as well. It's fascinating in a way.
@Trixie Kay:
For real it's my family.
All my family drama over the holidays:

•My mom's declared herself a sovereign citizen.

•My aunt's granddaughter is in serious trouble for 2 assaults. Her ex-boyfriend's girlfriend and the attorney.

•My aunt's son has pancreatic cancer. This runs rampant in our family among men. No one really liked him and there's mixed emotions.

•My racist uncle's youngest daughter is engaged to a poc. It's not going well between them.
My only hang up about it is his name is Kermit. I can't get the image out of my head that she's going to marry a frog. But whatever

•My niece has gone full blown goth. Her hippie father isn't happy about the makeup. It has nothing to do with gender standards. The FDA doesn't monitor cosmetics.

•My older brother wrecked a 80k car while being paid to park it.
He blames the owner of the car.

(I have 2 brothers)

------
I'm really growing to hate holidays

Stop eating artificial sugars and corn syrup. They don't properly breakdown in the body and trick your metabolism into storing fat even when exercising.

@Count Trashula: Moist cold environments that are flash frozen. We went from 30°F to -4°F in less than 2 hours. That probably played a roll too. My back windows like to collect a lot of condensation. The bathroom windows too.

@Starlight: Right now I'm getting back into Samurai Jack. All of the episodes are free on Spectrum demand right now.
I always loved Courage the Cowardly Dog and Billy & Mandy. Ed Edd n Eddy was fun too. I also kind of miss when the Old school Looney Tunes when they played on CN. The reboots just aren't the same. Right now I'm getting back into Samurai Jack. All of the episodes are free on Spectrum demand right now.

Also do you remember when the website looked like this?

Is the topic of religion acceptable in the role-playing section? Or any forum for that matter. If it's acceptable how in depth can the discussion get?

This is Kitty. He's a 16 year old Bombay cat with heterochromia. We found him one winter 12 years ago when it was -17°F. We let him in, fed him and he never left.

He currently is covered in glitter from the Christmas decorations.
