@Deaa: Macie is nice and warm.

@Deaa:
I'm sorry to hear that. It's always the worst thing ever when that happens.

@Deaa:

She has sweaters too. Once it gets below 40 she refuses to go out to pee without a sweater on.

This is Macie, my 10 year old morkie (maltese yorkie). She likes to lay on the heating pad. I actually have 2 heating pads because my dog will fight me over it all seasons around. So one for me and one for the dog. The heating pad thing started when she was about 4 years old. It was an incredibly frigid winter, going as low as -17. Which is much much colder than the regular cold temperatures here. At average it will rarely enter the negatives and if it does it wont last very long.

Sorry I didn't get back sooner.
I'm glad you liked it! I never used it with dried ginger before.

Yay! Go forth and try it. It's pretty tasty.
Also anise isn't necessary and depending on your preference or how naturally strong the lemon or ginger is, you can add more honey.

@Totalanimefan:
Yes it's a homemade recipe and I've made it quite a few times. Lemon, ginger and honey is supposed to be good for your immune system. I combined a mulled cider recipe with a citrus sweet tea recipe.

Mulled lemonade
Ingredients:
1 1/2 quart of filtered liquid, preferably water.
1 lemon sliced into many circles
2Tbs of fresh grated ginger
2Tbs of raw honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp anise
Directions:
Mix all the things in a large sauce pan. Bring to a light boil until lemon circles are empty and squishy. Using a strainer, pour the hot yellow liquid into a pitcher. Yay! You did it! Now, let it set for awhile. it will hurt if you drink it right after making it. Trust me.

Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex
Okami
Pac Man World 2

Super Mario Sunshine and Okami are probably my favorite.
Ive never played Harvest Moon. I remember looking at it when it was in Blockbuster eons ago. I don't know why I didn't try to get it. I did try to convince my mother to get my Legend of Zelda Windwaker but there was some talk going around about the disks not working right so she didn't get it. I never got to heavily into Pokemon when I was younger. Mostly because mom didn't like animals fighting. I played some of my friends Spyro games. I also played a glitchy GameCube version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban that my friend also had.

A bouquet of yellow roses
Posted in I made a paper crane Posted 4 years ago
@Totalanimefan:
I've always been sort of crafty. I first learned how to make the butterfly back in the beginning of high school. In my highschool there was a glass wall that had displays of all kinds of art projects. Mostly pottery and sketches. But there were a few projects that were paper related. This wall was the senior class art room so they got the more sophisticated equipment. I suppose that started it when I saw a giant origami Bugs Bunny. And later online I saw things like dragons, ballerinas and violinists. I tried to make a rose the first try out of jealousy when someone I was not particularly fond of showed off an origami rose bouquet they made for their mom. I failed at making it. In hindsight that wasn't too surprising. After awhile I chose to learn smaller things like the butterfly. Then I learned the heart. Over time the more I picked up the easier the things I once perceived as impossible became more plausible. Its taken time but now I'm able to make those bouquets of paper lillies.

As for the size; I once saw it on tv when some guy broke a world record for the world's smallest paper crane. Again, my teenage jealousy fueled my obsession.

@Miss Sandman:
Nothing fancy.
The lilly and rose was made with computer printing paper. The crane was made with an orange sticky note and the tiny heart and butterfy was made with a teabag package. The pink lotus is the only one made with actual origami paper.
I basically use whatever paper like material is available when I'm antsy. Even candy wrappers. Lol
