@miss kitty: Spark nods fervently, "I'm positive it was on the ground!"

@Godawful: "Yeah yeah! The pink cat. You know, after I was sitting in a jail cell for a bit... I realized she looked kind of like Val from back in Voltra, huh? There was also some weird big lady I saw in the woods, she was talking to me about how cute Frizz was but I totally blew her off. I know, I know so rude! I'd normally love to stay and chat, especially about how cute my siblings are! But I was in a rush... Hmm.. maybe I should apologize to her later...."

@faust sheep: "Although cards does sound.. kind of fun actually, I can't say I did!" He nodded.

@godawful: Spark shakes his head, "It's definitely not mine! That's more fluffy, mine's more feathery and light yellow!"

@miss kitty: He thought, before shaking his head. "I didn't encounter any flowers. Except for in the woods, I was mostly flying everywhere anyway!"

@dowan: Spark nods slowly, trying to follow along as he smiles, "You really sound like you know what you're talking about, I trust it!"

@miss kitty: "I was with Frizz up until I fly up into the castle. I left her in the woods, and during that time she went missing. I still don't know what happened, I only know that somehow Static found her!"

@miss kitty: Spark nodded, "Yeah at the moment I didn't sense any magic in the area besides the sceptre! I didn't pick up on anything else."

@miss kitty: Spark laughs from the question, waving his hands, "Magic or no I still have wings! Does a robin need magic to fly?" He smiles, giving her a thumbs up, "I lucked out here, it's okay!"

@faust sheep: "To the best of my knowledge I was all alone in those woods! Either they were really good at hiding, or they came later."

@luffer nutter: "Hey hey it's semantics and morals here! Under normal circumstances would I have done this? No way, I would have just given the Queen my best smile and asked. But it was an emergency we couldn't risk going wrong! Everyone's been totes weird here so I didn't want to end up in... well.." He waves his hands at the court, "This kind of situation. My bad!"

He sighs, frowning, "As for Frizz... I didn't want to put her into a dangerous situation. Nothing felt bad about the woods and I was only going to be five minutes... It made more sense at the time..."

@miss kitty: Spark nods, "My magic has been pretty much cut off here entirely so I couldn't use my own, but I could sense the magical signature of the object, that's what drew me to it... it was strong when I held it."

@angelus: "Absolutely not! I put it behind me when I ran forward! I can have my moments, but I'm not that dumb not to notice!"

@angelus: Spark shrugs with a smile, "Sorry! I don't know how long, like I said, under an hour is my best guess! And I don't know what to tell you, I didn't see anyone else. Maybe they came another way?"

@dowan: "Uhh that's a good question, it wasn't too long. I'd say under an hour? I put it down, walked into the woods to look for Frizz, and got arrested. So it must have been broken not long after I put it down!"

@angelus: "Huh... That probably would have been the smart thing to do!" He smiled sheepishly, before laughing, "I didn't think of it!"

@angelus: "Sorry, it was only me there thankfully! I would have been arrested a lot sooner if I wasn't being sneaky! But it was just me!"

@faust sheep: "Of course! I still needed it after all to try to help out Frizz, breaking it would have put us in a worse spot! Besides, I can be kind of careless, sometimes, maybe... But I'm not a total klutz!"

@godawful: Spark pauses for a moment, tilting his head, "I wanted her to be safe so I left her near the entrance of the woods. That way she'd be out of site but not get lost. My mistake, right?" He laughs weakly, "I'm just glad baby bro found her safe... Hi guys!" he waved to his siblings in the audience, "So that's where I went to look. I was pretty deep in the woods, I could smell a swamp, totally gross, when I was grabbed and dragged here!"

Static tries to hide his worry as he puts on a brave expression.

THE DORMOUSE



Static lifts the lid to the teapot, leaning in before gasping in surprise
as a sleepy head pops out of the top of it, yawning and slowly blinking. The Dormouse smiles at him, “Good bye.”

“I’m sorry, excuse me I... was wondering if you had seen my brother earlier.” Static stammered worried.

The Dormouse tilted his head, bringing his finger to his mouth as if thinking, before lazily nodding his head, “I did.”

Gasping in surprise, Static leaned in closer, “Please… Will you tell me what happened?”

The Dormouse stalled again, zoning out for a moment, “Humm… We met and spent the whole day together.
We did a lot of fun stuff and ate good food.”

“So you’re saying he was in your sights the entire time?”

“Yes,” The Dormouse nodded.

“And he did not sneak off to do anything nefarious?”

“I’m sure of it,” The Dormouse nodded again with a sleepy expression.

Static sighed in relief, offering the man a smile, “This is incredible, thank you…
Would you be able to attend his trial and testify this to the queen?”

“I’ll rush over there…” The Dormouse yawned, slowly dipping back into his teapot.
