At the start of the event we had like 10 commons and we just didn't think there were enough options.
But now we're starting to actually see avatars that don't look like recolored versions of each other lol so they'll be a thing!

Yours was also super cute, don't feel bad! Like, we had to do this really elaborate voting system with points and tears and stress and needless to say, it was really, really hard to actually pick the winners x3

Haha, no, we don't. We get an Ohm grant on the first of the month, and get to do lots of fun things to help run the events, though, so it's totally worth it.
Plus we got to help pick the standard recolors! Or, at least, I asked for a specific one and it happened, so I'll count it even if it was already in Fozzy's plans, haha.

Best thing about being known as Slytherclaw is that even though I'm a Slytherin at heart, I can shamelessly wear all the Ravenclaw gear I want. x3

Yeah I was super shocked to find one at all! It had so much good pop culture goodies too, haha
I like that GameStop is sorta becoming that kind of store now, though.

And I'm doing good! Excited to be able to post for fun/on my own account for a while x3

It was on super clearance at an FYE that was going out of business, so now I own one. xD
I've also got Snape's wand that I got for christmas a few years back haha, but I actually think that's mostly it.

Hey, everyone! Your friendly neighborhood Slytherclaw here with the rest of the writer team, and we just wanted to give you all a quick, central location to discuss the most recently event. The Block Party was our first mini-event here on Voltra, meaning that it was a smaller event with a focus on interactions, contests, and community rather than a larger event that affects the site appearance, has special currencies, etc.

We'd love to hear your feedback on the event, as for many of us, this was our first grand scale attempt at an event! What sorts of things did you like about the event? What do you think could be improved on? Are there any aspects you'd like to see repeated in future mini or regular events? We want your feedback so we can make sure to tailor future events to your tastes, and make the community happy! We're also happy to answer questions, if you have them!

You'll be recieving one more recolor set, based on the winner's choices. Vanora mentioned in her last update that it was the last recolor set outside of the winner's choice.

Recolors will be up as soon as we get all of the recolor choices and have a moment to put them in the shops. If an item isn't able to be recolored by tomorrow afternoon, due to a lack of information or an unforeseen emergency, no worries--we're not opposed to extending the shop date another day to make sure that a fair amount of time is available to buy them!

Haha, don't be discouraged. Not all wild cards count, so just because someone is submitting a lot of guesses doesn't mean they'll necessarily sweep the board for points. We'll have to see how Valentina judges everything. ^^
